Southeast Texas seeing major flooding from Tropical Storm Alberto

Miles of Texas' Gulf Coast have been inundated by floodwaters brought on from Tropical Storm Alberto. Disaster declarations have been issued for 51 counties in the Lone Star State. CBS News national correspondent Dave Malkoff has a look at the damage from Corpus Christi.

That is Corpus Christi Bay not the Beach. North Beach is part of the coast and is always floods.

This is normal for the Texas coast. People are used to it, required to have the proper insurance. Like Florida, we'll come back better. The danger is chemicals, plants and mineral yards polluting populated areas from surges and flooding.

Why All This Bad Floods Didn't Happened In the early 2000s and 1990s??? One time i Went to Florida in Panama City Beach and Orlando Back in 1999 i Wish Those Floods Happened Back then in the 1990s so that my Mom Would Have Allot of Money and Not take us to Vacation. I wish k I could go back to the past Decades ago to Have a Do All Over and Be a Very Young teenager and Have a Second chance at highschool education and Have Fun and Undo all my mistakes and Make Better Choices and Be Very Young Prettier and skinny and Do all the things and accomplished things. I Hope Almighty God Say Yes to my prayers and turn back time decades ago for Angelica Cartagena from CT Ledyard and The world to live in a Better Era and be Young and Have a Do all over.

Majority of houses are just fine. Water will recede and the weekend homes will be back in business for all beach goers. Fishing just May takeoff as well for the surf. Green to the beach coming soon.
