JSU in the house also. I remember we use to battle Texas Southern, our biggest competition. The bands are good but we had that real swag and soul. The Youngs ones are doing a good job. Bless their hearts. They are carrying the torch.💛💯

I don't know what's stopping me from getting that dream to March in the Human Jukebox Marching Band but I will try my best to join and get that dream of becoming the Drum Major as my old Mentor Mr. Greg always told me "Joshua you are the one chosen to become the Drum Major for the Human Jukebox and your future wife will be a Southern University Fabulous Dancing Doll and when you become a Director of Bands let the other Bands know that you are the Best of all Marching Bands and I remember what my old Music Teacher Dr. Willie Redfield lll always told me "Joshua hold your Big Head Up and Watch Were You Are Going and March like a Professional because with the St. Helena Central High School Marching Band you are Stepping, Styling, and Profiling because the Hawks are going to fly with you or without you.

It's funny how folks comment on SU, either SU smashed these very folks while they marched all of their years or SU has smashed their favorite bands. Ask them to name a time when they marched and battled against SU and their band smashed SU. I bet I can name more times/years that SU done smashed them while they were marching in said band

The band can play 10 Todd arrangements back to back and you would think it’s one long song. All of that BS sounds the same. Nobody wants to keep it real anymore. I'm with you. It doesn't sound good. They sound like a summer all star band at this point. Silly arrangements that serve no purpose other than to be loud and obnoxious. The euphos had one note 90% of the song. Trombones sound bad on the break. Trumpets out of tune. I miss the pre 2018 SU so much.
