South Island Rifle Walkers

South Island Rifle Walkers

3 жыл бұрын

The mighty West Coast of New Zealand is renown for it's rich hunting history, with legends of the sport obtaining some of their greatest Red Stag trophies from the area. With this in mind we were bloody excited to explore deep into the west coast bush climbing up steep forested valleys to reach the breathtaking peaks of the Southern Alps main divide. Watch along as we put our legs to work on an eight day adventure into remote country in search of a Red Stag worthy of the wall.

Animals or no animals, that was some magnificent scenery fellas. The failed hunt is nothing compared to being out in that country, top effort.

@@southislandriflewalkers5545 I don't know if i should giveaway the name, but the fact that you say it is on the west coast, and having a good look at the hut helped a lot. It starts with a T ;-) My pride finding was the video you went to Big Ben Range. I don't remember the title of this video but you had a cool 360 shot from the top that helped a lot

Costs a fair bit to get flown in, if we had the funds we'd love to! The walk in is always a big part of the adventure though, always makes you appreciate the area you're in!
