The last few weeks, I've been trying to preach to my coworker how God rested, and so should we because the man was constantly working through the weekend and getting upset. He listened last weekend! I absolutely 100% agree. God doesn’t allow for shortcuts, cheat codes or ritual to replace your faith in him. If he did we’d just keep doing the things that got us the outcome we wanted rather than going to him and asking him what he wants. We’d replace seeking with doing.

This is so good! Because I recently had been attending a church that was "so spiritual" that when things didn't happen in your life it was because "you weren't spiritual enough". And, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed going to church on Sunday and spending a few hours in worship & private time with God. However, God has really been on me lately, opening my eyes, and teaching me that there has to be balance, both Spiritual and Practical (physical). This episode is literally confirmation on what God has been showing me lately.

This episode really touched me because I have been trying to understand the role of work ethic and God’s will to do good for us. This episode gave me a better understanding of how those things work. Some things are just the principles of diligence and hard work. People show the spotlight but hide the behind the scenes. The light and stage versus the dirt and sweat.👀 Who labored and what did it take to make what you are doing a success? HARD WORK. People that work hard deserve to be blessed and awarded, but injustices, oppression and matters beyond a person's control causes misfortune. How much do you care and give versus how much do you compete, compare and take? Are you unjustly holding people back and filling your own pockets, or are you reaching out to pull the truly deserving up beyond bias, privilege and the hustle of staying on top it all cost? Question for you fellas! If I'm working hard, efficiently, wisely, planning properly, preparing and that leads to success in my career or education, what role is God playing in that? The reason I ask is because I see non-religious or spiritual people have success in their lives (career, education, marriage, health, etc) working towards their goals effectively and consistently.
