I look forward to every single episode of Southside Rabbi. Y'all highlight the things in culture that should be addressed, the things that other people won't address. Even though I respect your private endeavors in the kingdom, I wish y'all would post more often than once a month. I watch Ruslan daily but there's allot of negative content from him lately. I never watch Southside Rabbi and feel that way, I feel refreshed from the Holy Spirit from your theology. PLEASE post more

Especially since I'll be married soon and have two future teenage daughters I want to be examples for and protect. Thanks so much.

When KB talked about the way his son handle that situation it showed me that the way he is being raised is the right way. My wife and I do not have kids yet but that is one of the things we are excited to about in our life and I pray that I will be a Godly father and great example of a “man”. This really was an amazing message. Thank you both.

Thank you for saying what needs to be said! As people, we tend to pendulum, and the truth is often a balance. I appreciate the shout-out to John Lovell and the Warrior Poet. God calls us to be like Jesus, who is both the lion and the lamb! Men need to be dangerous in order to protect the weak and vulnerable. We must also be compassionate in order to properly care for those same people in the way God calls us to!

Very important topic. I look forward to this series. Here’s my take as a woman who’d by the right would be described as “empowered” when really I and other women like me are just truthfully trying to survive: The manosphere is the oldest trick in the book-Adam blamed Eve for his mistakes instead of taking responsibility. There are more women in the U.S. than men so I don’t think women empowerment is to blame for men not finding a spouse. Men still get paid more by percentage. Also, I have critique for the notion that women should be blamed for a man’s poor ability to evolve and support himself. Most women, including me, don’t want to work we have to 1.) to not be taken advantage of (because abuse, SA, DV are a real thing and plague the nation) 2.) and increasing desire from men for casual hookup relationships with no real commitment 3.) the cost of living isn’t like it was in the 50s for Caucasian families. If women are the weaker vessel and she has one degree a man should have five but it’s a crutch to simply blame “women empowerment” for the very real problem that’s going on with men. It’s deeper than that. I’d say 50 percent of men that have shown attraction towards me were very physically or emotionally aggressive/abusive. As a woman, I have an obligation to protect myself and not go towards fire. I’ve seen too many women ignore the red flags and end of not here any more. I think the issue is that boys are not taught responsibility and consequences at a young age. Their sisters, however, will have more chores and responsibilities to help take care of the home. She is preparing for childbirth at or before puberty and becoming a woman. While parents and societies are encouraged to say “let boys be boys”. I have never heard anything remotely adjacent to that phrase when I was growing up that allowed me to just be a kid trying to figure it out. But that’s a phrase that is used when men are grown. Boys will be boys-they don’t have to control their urges (as if the female body is completely void of them also). Boys will be boys, let’s not teach them how to balance a checkbook or know how to pay the bills. Boys will be boys, we don’t have to teach him the benefits of working and studying hard, the world was literally made for him. -Gen. X raised their sons to be this way and I will not take the blame for it because I literally HAVE to take care of myself. I wasn’t getting paid a fair wage and hated my job so I went back to school and was blessed to find a better paying job by God’s grace. But again it’s easier to blame woman for male under achievement. Women don’t want a man they have to take care of as if he were a child. That’s not how God designed it in the beginning. The man used to take care of the whole family and the wife was just support. It’s sad to say in some areas Christian guys can be the most misogynistic and narcissistic of the dating pool (and yes, it has excrement in it.)

Crabs in a barrel, and they are called Misogyny Crab and Misandry Crab; each reacting to each other, pushing the other down, using how they were treated by the other side as justification. Same with race, white & non-white.

It's really interesting to see many Christian men on the backside of the whole manosphere (which is basically a collection of male centered content) movement because where was this movement for men in the church? The stats are in and men have left the church decades ago because of the rise of the feminization of the western church. There is a great book that came out a decade ago by a Christian man called "why men hate going to church" and it explains why the church has lost its influence with men. I understand not liking the red pill or Andrew Tate but let's not act like the church has been doing its part in the west to value men at all. I think we are blaming the world for influencing men when we should as a church have been reaching out to keep our leaders (men) feeling valued and supported. It's our fault not the worlds we dropped the ball and we need to repent and do our part to fix it for the next generation of young men.
