Very nice classic passenger train photos about the Southern Pacific and Amtrak from the mid 1980s, and great piano music! It reminds me of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.

Hey Gary, really nice to see so many old Bay Area pictures with such clarity... was that the old Steel Plant in the Hayward area that is now a housing development or the current place that makes Blk pipe in the background?? I just now realized the Train Order board signals are lower quadrant, now I gotta correct the 3 I have on my layout.. 🤪 Daylight Dave.. 🤗

I believe so. I’m not that familiar with the East Bay being from the Peninsula. I think it was in Decoto.

I believe that is a Sunset lounge car that was later painted in Daylight colors and is now at the CA State RR Museum in Sacramento along with a matching diner. I don't recall the original car number or the three digit one that later was assigned to it.
