@islahartel9304 Yes, true. Somehow, from the highs of 2017 to 2019, both DvD & Jackie fell off their peaks, turning aggressively physical thanks to time spent in WSL. This was the midfield that won the Euro & reached the WC final with technical ability. Roord fills that void nowadays.

Stefanie van der Gragt is missed (she retired). Our team needs someone like her, Katie McCabe, Millie Bright or Lena Oberdorf. Not sure how this will work out Wednesday against Germany. cuando esta a su mejor nivel esta claro que está a la altura de la mejor Martens, de la mejor Cascarino, de la mejor Mead, de la mejor Mallory Pugh, basicamente, extremo TOP el problema de Mariona las ultimas 2 temporadas fueron sus lesiones, esperemos que esta temporada no se pierda el tramo mas importante y pueda estar a su mejor nivel, eso si, tal como está ahora su renovacion con el Barca está cantada

@@eddieherrera5314She has days. Against Sevilla she touched 4 balls and scored 4 goals. Against R. Madrid she had 3 1v1 and missed them all (much like today). But I agree with you, she has to improve her finishing and she will be terrifying. I think part of it is that she does not trust at all her right leg.

Mariona is such an underrated player - almost like Busquets. You watch the game you don't see Mariona. But when you watch Mariona you understand the game. Because she is invisible Mariona, like Patri, will never get any awards or be considered among the "Best" by WoSo media, experts & fans whose technical knowledge of the game is at the best mediocre. No wonder Rachel Daly is considered better than Mariona by fans of rugby football leagues like WSL.

Es un espectáculo estás jugadoras , claro de esto no se habla como es el femenino y como la mayoría son del barsa no tiene trascendencia , si fueran del Madrid toda la prensa Madrileña estuviera pendiente,de esto no valoran que es la selección vienen de ser campeonas del mundo , el año pasado , no importa porque el último Mundial en la 2010 fue ganado se podría decir por casi solo la plantilla del barsa , y precisamente en el 2023 lo mismo jugadoras determinantes en la mayoría del barsa ganaron el mundial contundentemente . España fue muy superior ante una Paises Bajos que sabemos que es un gran equipo, golazo de Jenni cambiandose el balón de pie varias veces, el segundo gol para irnos al descanso 2-0 fue vital, luego es verdad que no tuvimos tanto control, pero tampoco nos crearon ocasiones claras. El tercero para matar el partido cerca del final. Pero siempre se pueden mejorar cosas, Salma le cuesta definir tuvo varias dentro del area y no hubo manera hay que mejorar eso, cuando empiece a meterlas no habrá quien la pare, nos falta a veces tirar a porteria en vez de buscar un regate más, le paso a Salma en la primera parte a pase de Athenea tras recuperar en el area y a Alba Redondo en la jugada del 3-0, tan cerca hay que darle a porteria. Destacar el debut de Vicky Lopez, ya la había visto en la EURO SUB 17 y ayer se la vio segura, con ganas de participar y ofreciendose constantemente para recibir el balón, hay futuro.

?????????? Ona clearly is, but left back? Bacha and Rolfö are way better than Olga to be sincere (Crystal Dunn too, and Mccabe when she plays as leftback too) Karchaoui actually is better leftback than Olga but she's been not at her best lately, so we can argue if Olga would play in a better team probably would perform at the same lvl of Karchaoui and Niahm Charles despite not being better than Olga performs better than Olga

@@pirates2.011 last season Olga got benched too many times in the first half of the season by Svava (who improved massively last season) and she played many matches as winger by that reason, when Caicedo arrived, Olga had to compete vs both players and they 3 played a balanced quantity of matches as starters she also this season has been playing sometimes really good and sometimes really bad, there's no way to perceive Olga as the best left back Karchaoui has been one of the best players for PSG last 3 seasons, PSG a UWCL semifinalist (21-22) quarter finalist (22-23 and 23-24)

@@pirates2.011 watch some matches from Real Madrid and u will see how Olga defensively isn't complete and she's neither as good as u think she's good and definetely has potential to be a top player but she's not now, she's improving and has really good lvl, but still has to overpass players like Mccabe or Karchaoui before competing with Rolfo or Bacha

With Damaris the Dutch would have more control, and being able to let Danielle van der Donk play more offensively, espec now Pelova was injured. Also, Brugts is a wing-back, but against ESP you know that this will turn out badly with their wing-backs upfront thanks to their dominant game play... Wrong judgement-calls by Jonker, imho.

I usually find Jonker lacking and too conservative. I think Spitse, Martens and Miedema are far from their primes. Groenen was clearly overmatched (the way Aitana wins her back in the second goal was appalling) Damaris would have also given them some threat in set pieces. There is talent in the youth squads, I think it is about time they start to introduce them

@@RespecTheLevYTAgreed, and Brugts should have played in more offensive positions and find a proper left-back. I think Netherlands can play much better. Outside SPain I think they had some of the best midfielders (if we ignore injuries). Damaris, Van de Donk, Roord and Pelova are quality.

@@aletapequena exactly mate! Coming into this game without Jill Roord especially was rather pointless! She’s the MVP of the midfielder who lets everything tick!!! Almost single-handedly bossed the midfield against the USA at the World Cup

Many talents (look at Ajax beating Bayern München and PSG), but for finals and advanced stages in tournaments you need depth in quality.

Indeed. However, she is making the correct runs and getting into scoring positions. She is just 20yrs old and is still learning her craft. In a couple of years she will be unstoppable. She doesn't have the strength of a Bunny Shaw, nor versatility. But Bunny is the finished article at 27. Selma at 20 has more "head room" for development than any female forward on the planet.

las defensas de Paises Bajos son normalitas, Janssen es una central con buen pase en largo y aveces sale a cortar bien como ultima defensa pero en las marcas es mala, anticipando es mala, por arriba es blandita Spitse es buena anticipando porque es pivote defensiva y tiene buen fisico, pero al espacio no gana una, si le toca hacer coberturas no llega por velocidad Doekstra es buena con balon pero defensivamente es muy normal tirando a mala

nederland forgot their defense wall. ajax defense is the best defense ive seen. when you are playing against an incredible attacking team, you have to be the counter puncher. compact def followed by rapid attack. midfields are so crucial aginst those kinds of team. they are the defs walls filling the gaps.but also the ones who will be the steering wheel for the forwards once they get ball for a fast counter.

@@RespecTheLevYT From the small samples I have watched, I think de Sanders some times get overconfident on the ball and Weerden is pretty good on space and poor in tight spaces. But to be fair, most Ajax players are super-young and they have plenty potential. I am totally looking forward to see how do they develop
