It amazes me how 'simply lead' Americans can be. For years, decades and even centuries, ;R O U T E' and 'R O U T I N G' were pronouce as 'r-oo=t' and 'r-oo-ting' respectively. Now, for some reason, Americans are now pronouncing these words as 'r- ow- t' and r-ow-ting' respectively. When did all this change? Was it and 'act of senate/' After all it was Americans that created the song, ' R-oot 66.' Or do you all now sing it as 'R-ow-t 66?' I find it very hard listen to anything American with these mispronounced words.

That's funny 😄 America is a big country and if you travel around you'll probably hear several pronunciations
