15 years on, we still remember them.

I remember walking to school just after getting off the tube and hearing this thunder like sound and everyone was watching up but it couldn't have been... Then they were saying it was a power surge... It was memorable enough as it is for me... I can't imagine how people directly involved feel about it ❤️ thankfully like many others I was lucky, and that day I didn't stop to get coffee near the station before my journey

Those poor passengers who suffered that day will never forget about the injuries and pains and all emergency staff were there on standbys proud on them to helping how bad things go sometimes.

My dad was a contract cleaning manager and the stations which was hit that day was ones he looked after, his job was to make sure the stations was clean at all times, he just got home from a long night shift in london and about 10 minutes inrto his sleep, he got a phone call from his manager informing him whats happened. my dad went straight back into London to asses and to make sure his workers was safe. He has said there are things that will never be unseen. He even had press offer hiim £10,000 for a photo of the bodies and such he just looked away in horror RIP to everyone who lost their lives on this day

I think this episode commemorates the events of that day in a very suiting way. Instead of dramatic (like most shows tend to do) this episode is more tranquil and sober

I live in the US (at the time, I lived about one hour north of New York City) and I was in my car when I heard about these horrific attacks on the London Underground on the radio. It sent a chill up my spine because it brought me back to September 11th. It seems to me like July 7th, 2005 was Britain's 9/11/01. This episode has me shaking. Stay safe, friends!

I was stood with many others in a carriage, near the front of a stationary train, on the eastbound track at Edgware Rd Station. Carriage doors open waiting for a green signal. We then heard, what sounded like, a cannon going off at the other end of the platform and then what I can only describe as compressed air being pumped through our train. I was very spooked when we were all asked to get off the train and leave the station out of the ‘never used’ side exit. As I got off I quickly peered down to the other end where the ‘cannon’ sound came from but I didn’t want to look too long in case I saw something I didn’t want to see. Little did I know at the time that the noise came from the westbound train that was in the station seconds ago but had just trundled out of view... but not earshot.

I finished school the day before this and my dad is a Londoner yes we live in Brighton but still RIP to all 52 who lost their lives.

My Nan got off the Piccadilly line 2 stops before the incident happened I’m so glad she is life

I feel like such a shitty self absorbed, unaware American. I had completely forgotten this happened, much less had any clue how bad it was. We focus too much on the events of 9/11 and often fail to realize that terror attacks don't just happen here.

When this happened, I would have been at primary school... can’t remember much more.

My parents were on the first plane from London to the States after the bombings. They were met at the gate by a ton of press. My parents had no idea anything had happened. Meanwhile, my sister and I were frantically calling the airline to make sure they were listed on the passenger manifest.

I have so much respect for the emergency services and the employees of London Transport, plus anyone working in the public sector.

I used to visit my grandparents in shepherds Bush and they always told me how people in London never spoke to one another but in these circumstances they done more than speak they showed courage and love well done to those in 7 /7

I was 15 years old when this happened. I was on holidays from secondary school (went to school in Ireland where we have 3 month summer holidays) and at the time was mainly interested in Pokemon, my friends and my computer. I remember seeing this on the news when it happened and it upset me quite a bit at the time. Also left my parents scared to go on the tube again. Why isn't it remembered in the way 9/11 is every year?

I was never on a under ground train when this happened but I was really young and for 3 years after this I refused to go on the underground.

I was 7 Years old then. Living in the West Midlands like I still do now. I remember this being on the news for DAYS. I was way too scared to use the tube even now I freak out a bit.

I was a trainee teaching assistant working in an infant school. Id just arrived home for my lunch when my twin brother came to the door and told me what happened. I watched the news in shock. After lunch i headed back to work it was so surreal seeing buses going past and I thought of all the people on the trains and buses whom we injured or killed just going to work or going about thier day. When i got back to work we were all told not to tell the children so as to keep them calm and leave it up to parents as they would be too young to understand anyways. I'll never forget that day

I'm from Ireland and I can remember that day I was off work and I was just out of bed and I turned on Sky news and it just happened. All these year's later and I still remember that morning.

I was on a double decker bus 3 buses behind the number 30 bus which exploded in front of our eyes in Tavistock Place,Russel Square. Probably the worst day of my life.

My girlfriend was there on 7/7. Had come back from a job in Africa. It was very scary. The system broke down. People didn’t know what was going on. They had to evacuate and learn on the surface - what had happened. They had to find their own way to Heathrow. When she got back to Detroit - she learned that her then husband had passed on 7/7 in Michigan. A traumatic 24 hours in her life.

On that morning I was with my colleague, both of us working as police support officers. We are at Edgware station when we heard for assistance to help with crowd control at kings cross station. The initial message stated a fire between kings cross and Aldgate station. We got in our patrol car and made our way towards Edgware Road station, teams of officers from our unit were doing a RPI operation at Euston station when the sergeant called out the code word ‘POLSA’ which meant explosive device on the bus. We then rushed towards the scene to find chaos. We were on a road closure in front of Euston station diverting people away from the scene, allowing emergency vehicles to access the area. It was a very long 15 hours with people in panic mode, horrible news reporters trying to climb over high gates of the church which was turned into a temporary mortuary. There were people from nearby hotel and cafes who bought us drinks to keep us going. The scene was horrifying, the day had changed the entire way we behaved. We go back to our default ways and let our guards down...and it all happens again!

Lest we forget! We must never forget this terrible day and who was responsible for the murders. Why no memorial to those who died?

Jesus, it took forty minutes to get help down there and that poor bloke was in a scene of devastation on his own. How many lives would have been lost needlessly because of that sort of delay. This is why it is so important to learn first aid. If you are an employer, please give serious consideration to sending ALL of your staff on a thorough first aid course and claiming it back as a training expense. No one knows when they might see a very serious event with injuries needing immediate attention to save life.

My Regional Director at the time had just gotten to London on his honeymoon. We were waiting for a day and a half for news of him.

So many everyday people went into the disaster to help - the everyday heroes that just want to help.

RIP to those people who died on 7/7. I remember that day very well because I had to get to work at Holborn, Central London at 8am in the morning so I missed the London bombings by 49 minutes.

I remember this day very well. I was getting ready for work when I got a text message from my (now ex) girlfriend asking me if I was ok. Surprised by her text I said "yes of course I am. Why?" And then she said that there was a problem on the underground. I was living in a pub between Aldgate and Liverpool street station. Eventually the City of London Police came in telling us to get our stuff ready in case we had to be evacuated. But the one thing that will stick to my mind is that on this day there was the G8 in Gleneagle, Scotland. W Bush with Tony Liar were seeking public support for the war in Irak. What a strange coincidence if you ask me.

Remember being 7 on holiday in London and not understanding while we were leaving early, and parents just telling "something really bad happened"

When you hear the government and the top of TFL talking about job cuts and reduction of staff numbers ask them to come back here, watch this video and listen to the woman saying how reassuring was the sight of London Underground staff and how professional they were. That’s what people sometimes don’t get, the staff can seem relaxed most of the time, but when the shit hits the fan, their level of professionalism and their knowledge is incredible.

I was 10 when this happened and was at school in Camden, when a girl there was running around saying there had been a bomb on London Bridge (obvs too young to understand what had really happened!). The teachers tried to keep it down all day when eventually they decided to evacuate us as we weren't far from one of the bus bombings. I remember my friends mum picking my sister, me and my friend up and driving us home and then my mum just running out of work to hug us crying. We spent the whole day watching what was happening on the news and as a 10 year old it was absolutely terrifying, confusing and heartbreaking. My condolences go out to all those affected that day, London really did come to a stand still
