Speak More Clearly: How to Improve Your Articulation
In this video, I would like to talk about articulation. Why is it important?
When our articulation is not active, our speech intelligibility suffers. Poor articulation gives us a signal - “I find this communication uncomfortable. I’m ashamed of myself, I feel like hiding.” Along with this wish, our articulation wants to hide, too. What can we do?

@@juru6887 I'm not sure, maybe just talking to fewer people? I used to do a lot of public speaking - university lecturer, TA, conference presentations etc. Now I'm working in the industry and aside from a handful of meetings with normal chit chat here and there I don't talk as much. I've always been a faster talker too which naturally makes it more likely for me to slur my words or get them jumbled.

Same. It instantly gave me a form of "relief" if that even makes sense. I have had a jaw alignment issue my whole life and it makes it so that I have to try really hard to talk without that "child lisp" except it's not a lisp... idk how to explain it. It seems to go away when I am really into a conversation but in general it fucks my day to day interactions up. But yea this helps.
