Yknow. This man has a point. Babies learn to speak by sitting and listening and observing every day life. Young children don’t speak perfectly when they begin to speak. For a while they have to be corrected until they eventually take off. The same can be applied to us learners.

I've been learning Spanish for a couple months and verb conjugations are a big worry for me. I've been watching videos from a channel called Rock'N'Learn. It's for kids but it really helps me to learn new words and practice verb conjugation. I highly suggest it for beginners. Thank you for your content. Your story has encouraged me, and given me hope that I can learn Spanish too! :)

I was worried about not having learned Spanish conjugation in a way that's often used in school. But after I saw your video, I realized that learning conjugation could be freer and more natural. So I'll continue to consume a lot of content in Spanish while being conscious of how they conjugate verbs.

Please do more of these type of videos, it was fun and very helpful!

I been leaving comments on his video and lingomasters vids too. If you want to learn Spanish what I am doing is changing the language on my phone to spanish. So literally all my apps, news feeds, settings etc are in spanish. Now I'm learning words passively throughout my day without even thinking about it. Like when I try to connect to wifi? Now I know "red" means net work Añadir/agrega is "add" Etc etc... Also most apps speak to you in second person. So you can literally learn the yo and tu form just by using apps and responding to the dialog. Most of us use our phone so much that you can still operate your phone with no problem regardless of the language.

Hola! I'm starting my journal learning (ES) on October 2022, my native language is Polish, and in my native language we have a similar conjugation too. Reading and listening on contest and then writing a conjugation of verb with we don't know. I 'm trying to not translate it on my native language because it doesn't make sense. The great method with I found on YT was a learning how actors in theater learn their roles. For me works perfectly. The great is building own simple sentences to understand it and repeat them - but not writing, trying to speak on the beginning.

Your ears and eyes are the most important thing in learning a language. Read Spanish graded readers even if you don’t know what it’s saying. Listen to as much as you can. Don’t think too hard. it will come naturally. this is pretty much the same for all languages not just spanish.

So I came here after not really understanding the patterns I was starting to see while reading. You are right about WHEN to seek out this knowledge. Memorizing this stuff without context is not the right approach. Now when I see these different verb endings, they will hit differently because of the context I already have. Going through those lyrics is a great way to show the examples. That dude wrong though for going in on her boyfriend like that 😂
