Why do you bring 2 guns? I thought since you’re diving deep it’s to have a back up gun. But I see your secondary gun is significantly under powered. I have one just like it and I threw that in the trash after my first dive with it. I only ask because it seems like it gets really chaotic when you’re trying to mess with two guns on the bottom. It just seems like it would be easier to bring additional shafts for your larger gun. Anyway super stoked for you buddy! Glad you got the grouper. Keep diving brother!!

Plus that's not a girl. Large grouper are males as they shift from female to male as they grow or when a male is needed to spawn.

Ya it was pretty much a bounce for what we do. You can’t tell in the video but I switched over to a 70% deco tank at some point

Great fish! Congrats, My biggest black grouper is not even close to that size and I consider it my most challenging hunt I have had. My favorite fish to chase and favorite fish to eat.

Those rob Allen shafts are brittle. Heat treated shafts only way to go.
