Spearfishing Fiji Kadavu - Spearfishing Bluewater Dravuni
In the third episode of the Kadavu trip, we are spearfishing the astrolobe reef. Targeting Dogtooth Tuna we encounter plenty of sharks and a couple of fish.

All fish were of legal size and were speared for consumption. I abide by catch size limits, daily takes, and no fish zones. Over the past 5 years now I have made the commitment to no longer buy fish, so I only eat the fish I catch.
Spearfishing is the most sustainable form of fishing on the planet, it is also the most environmentally friendly form of fishing.

Nice one, Dravuni is awesome pass my Loloma and regards to Kadavu people, I used to be working there as a Meteorological Officer about 13 years ago. If you get a chance go to Galoa...

@@WetMammal back in the day's lots of OroOro (Rock Cod) and Walu (Spanish Mackerel) were around Galoa and shallow water used to have some big kahunas

Yeah sometimes the right chat at the right place leads to the best adventures but you need to put yourself out there. This was actually tee’d up by an awesome bloke who is from Kadavu and lives in Australia and watches the channel

Maybe the tsunami scared all the fish over this way to Australia. Big floods in SE QLD but it’ll eventually clear and should be good. Lots of great food over there and scenery. Loving the vids boss!!
