I've gotta watch a bit more of Patrick Troughton's Doctor one of these days. I've only seen "Tomb of the Cybermen". His Doctor reminds me of my grandpa: wild-eyed and subversive on the outside, but a steely resolve on the inside. :)

That would be the 20th anniversary special, The Five Doctors. Pretty cool if slightly weird episode, but hey, weird is good for our Doctor Who. Have fun!

I'm sure this Doctor had an episode where he encounters a all silver body suit humanoid in a cave. He explains to a companion that the Time Lords wanted & created a perfect killing machine. I can't find any information on this episode...can any1 tell me or at least the name of the ultimate killing creation that was in the cave. The episode info I have is that the doctor was kidnapped & placed on a planet with other famous evil victims. It was a war training ground for the Time Lords.

You're thinking of "The Five Doctors", and it was the Third Doctor and Sarah Jane who encountered the Raston Warrior Robot.

That was one thing that bugged me when PT reprised the role. Gray, hey, no problem, but they went from something that didn't look like Moe's bowl cut to something that did. And irony of ironies here, regarding the comment about PT's wig looking like Harpo Marx, well...if there's a Doctor whose hair looks like that of Harpo Marx, it was the one with whom PT worked in his final outing for the show.
