Ingredients:
Pie crust:
all purpose flour 315 grams (2 1/2 cups)
sugar 30 grams (2 tbsp)
salt 3 grams (1/2 tsp)
shortening 90 grams
butter 115 grams (1/ 2 cup)
cold water 80 ml (add more or less)
Ube pie filling:
yolk 8 large
condensed milk 290ml
evap 260 ml
ube halaya 3/4 cup
ube flavoring 2 tbsp
vanilla 1 tbsp
eggwhites 3 large
Pie pan size: 8 inches
Oven temperature: 160°c to 150°c
Baking time: First, Bake for 15 minutes in 160°c. then lower the heat to 150°c and continue baking for another 35-40 minutes until toothpick insert comes out clean.
