It's a lot to do with genetics. I wear simple makeup most days and only clean my face with soap and water. I have never had acne and the only time I get a pimple is around my menstrual cycle :))

If you are new here :- - We don't use makeup wipes - If you wear makeup think about double cleanse - No products with fragrance - Diy skincare is a big NONO - Eye creams are expensive moisturizers - Sunscreen!!! (SPF) Every.Single.Day - Chemical exfoliators >>>>>>> - YES To Niacinamide - ( Drying ) Alcohol in ingredients = Don't Buy - No raw coconut oil on your skin If you do you're choosing death - We like 'The Ordinary' and 'CeraVe' - We also stan 'The Inkey List' - Always moisturize (even if you have oily skin) - We need to take down St.Ives - We do shoulder shakes daily - Say no witch hazel - Say no essential oil - Dont buy MARIO!!! - Natural Isn't Better Hope it helps you !! I just meant that some people with acne do everything in their power to clear it and it doesn't work and they still somehow blame themselves or feel less than, while other people barely try and have clear skin so sometimes it just literally comes down to genetics.So we should not be hard on ourselves

I usually stay in for like an hour when taking a bath, taking a shower for the same length would waste wayy more water. It's just nice to sit in water for a while lol, I can be lazier in a bath than if I'm taking a shower

Hey, I so understand your pain. I had TERRIBLE acne for TEN YEARS. But I took care of my skin better than literally anyone I know. 😂 I’m 24 and my skin is finally clearing up for the first time since the end of 8th grade (14yrs old)

Look I’m a 22 father with acne. Whenever I shave people are hesitant to treat me like an adult or like a teenager boy when I’m not with my family in public. I understand the pain. I’ve been to a dermatologist to try and understand hormones better, she told me I couldn’t get rid of that acne from medicine because it’s not pimps but rather small red dots inside my skin. I don’t really know how to translate the real thing in English. So apparently the only way to get rid of it is from nutrition. Which I’m not ready to adapt ! 😅

I didn’t realize how many negative effects makeup wipes had! I knew they were bad for the environment because of the daily waste but I didn’t realize the tugging on the skin was harsh too. I’m definitely going to buy a cleansing balm as an alternative. Thanks for the info!

If you’re new here: -We don’t like makeup wipes -Eye creams are expensive moisturizers -We like the ordinary and CeraVe -We use Sunscreen daily -YES to Niacinamide -Fragrance is a NONO -We like don’t like Cetaphil -We HATE St.Ives -We don’t use scrubs -We do shoulder shakes every single day -We don‘t use peel of masks and DIY skincare products -Moisturizer is rly important -NO to witch hazel -Don’t forget to double cleanse after using makeup Hope it helps you :)

In legal terms, he would have to go to school for another 6? years to have the legal right to say he’s a dermatologist. If he says he’s a dermatologist without a degree, all videos where he says he’s a dermatologist would be demonetized or taken down.

Why is it that whenever I notice that people have good skin they don’t take good care of it but when someone doesn’t have good skin they do take care of their skin. Before I went to the dermatologist I had fungal, cystic, and hormonal acne and dry skin. And I had a good routine. But maybe it’s just me.

I think you should have a website where someone puts in their skincare needs and the problems they have with their skin etc. and it will formulate a perfect skincare routine for that person and recommend products they could use that might help. Someone might have already came up with this but I just thought of it.

yo wait no this is a rlly good idea, i have keratosis pilaris and i went to a dermatologist what they gave me just made my skin worse and i’ve tried looking on youtube on how to treat it and i’ve only found videos on how to treat kp that’s on your body and not on your face so 🙃✌🏻
