I saw that car when you took it in. It wasn't no where near that beautiful. You buffed out the paint, reconditioned the top and the windows look crystal clear. This looks like an entirely different vehicle. Whatever the price is now, the quality detail job done by your detailer is worth every penny that you paid because it surely added double the value to the vehicle simple in visual appearance. I know that you did even more to ensure that the mechanicals were in top notch shape. I would have confidence purchasing any vehicle that you put up for sale. I was blown out of the water.

I almost forgot - those seats are my favorites of all the GM/Town Car, more comfortable than on my 2006 TC.

Car is beautiful, the green I think looks great. The intake manifold you did the right thing by changing the old plastic one. My Signature L 2005 town car with 168,000 miles had 3 of those plastic manifolds. Great car, should sell fast. Your friend Bob with the 1949 series 60 Fleetwood in very dark black.

Makes me miss my 97 crown Vic. I had those same wheels except had the ford center cap. They weren’t fun to keep clean because of the design, just took time cleaning them but they look good when clean! Its good you did the manifold, because at some point it will crack.

Wow that brought back my Crown Vic in that color 1994. I paid $3,500 in 1998. I traded it for a New Black Taurus that looked like a Dogs Face licking me. When you start with a ‘73 Fleetwood Brougham at age 17 in great Florida owner condition it was Big Cars since until the Taurus. I went back to big after that. Thanks for the memories

Love this Grand Marquis! I had a 1992 Grand Marquis that was fully loaded, it was one of the best cars we owned! Very few issues did we have for the years we owned it, very reliable, beautiful white body, blue pin stripes, blue top and and a beautiful blue interior. This green beauty brings back many memories, a great automobile indeed!

Hopewell, N. J. is where the Lindbergh baby was kidnapped and murdered in 1932. It was long before my time, but not my Dad, who was living in Essex Fells, N. J. Beautiful car, and I'm sure Papa Bear does a complete mechanical inspection and replaces anything that he feels needed.

Chances are there was some sort of defect with the original cloth top and the third party company who originally installed it, replaced it under warranty. Similar situation happened to my Grandmothers ‘98 DeVille. After 6 months the top started to bubble.

Man thats a sweet ride. I had a 94 LS years ago in champaign/violet with these same sort of TownCar-ish basket weave pattern rims. Was still in great shape at 166K miles when that car saved my life. On my way to work on a rainy morning an oil slick on a freeway entry ramp spun the car around and I wound up facing traffic going full speed! From the far left lane a semi doing about 55 plowed right into the front right side -pushing the car about 150 feet before it finally stopped, and the semi wound up in the ditch 300 feet or so down the freeway. Everyone was OK! -I got right out of the vehicle with just minor scrapes and bruises -probably the airbag and the overall size and structure of the vehicle took the brunt of the impact and saved my life. So yeah, I always highly recommend these panther platform body on frame cruisers just from the stand point of being very safe cars. Plus they are great cars to tool around in just in general 🙂 Someone will love the green example!!

I like that green color. Really do not see that mint green color anymore. Maybe Landrover or something inside will be green but no more American cars like this.

Anthony, that is really such a beautiful car from a time when everything wasn't white, black, or gray/silver! My Dad's last car was a '98 Grand Marquis LS in Wedgewood Blue with gray interior and it had those wonderful lacy spoke wheels. It was such a beautiful low mileage car with such a great ride that, in hindsight, I so wish I would have kept after his passing. And it is still on the road today! It’s clean. Have to mention how perfect the Vogues look on this with the gold stripe. I found my friend a triple green ‘97 Deville about 2 yrs ago with 50k miles on it, and thankfully he feels the same way about it. You just don’t see these green interiors anymore. Fortunate to still have a wine interior myself.

There’s no doubt that this Mercury was meticulously maintained and garaged.

Won't last long at that price. I love the Green. My dad's last car was a Midnight Jade 78 Lincoln Town Car with a white three quarter vinyl coach roof and green leather interior. What a courageous car. I will always regret not buying the car from him. This car is a real gem. For a 26 year old car, I think this car has less flaws that the 2008 Caddy you just sold. Here today, gone tomorrow.

Im not a fan of green cars but that car is in remarkable shape still for the year ! Someone will love having it ! Hopefully they know its collectable value and use it as a sunday driver . Its only original once right !

Hi, Anthony and Papa Bear! I really love this car. I have always been a fan of colourful cars. My first car was a 1954 Plymouth Savoy in dark green with a lighter green two-tone interior. I have also had a '56 Dodge Custom Royal in pink, burgundy and white, and a '78 New Yorker Brougham in yellow/tan. Considering the condition of this car and what you have done to it, I really think your price is a bargain. Keep up the good work, both of you. Super gorgeous specimen Anthony. Mercury had always been the less marked up version of LuxoFord technology. The green is quite striking, in a GOOD way. My '97 TC had something called Light Cyprus green, with a tan interior. My favourite Lincoln of the bunch... I wish I still had it as it was the easiest to get on and out of... (I'm over 6ft1in tall). 😣 You restored this gem back to life. And somebody's goon love it. 😀 My 1st car was an '88 MG-M with padded half top, factory limo style rear window too. Good find... 👍

I love this car! My favorite color is GREEN! So, I LOVE IT. My aunt had a 95' model LS she was was an educator for 42 years. And that was one of my favorite cars that she owned.

This Car is So gorgeous these jokers ride so good I had a 95 never had any issues out of it only the Factory Air Ride Air-bags went out other than that nothing else i replaced them with Springs but I ended up wrecking it got it from a 70 year old grand-mother it had 80k miles on it when I bought it.

Beautiful Green Marquis. I have never seen one this color before. Those Vogue tires are awesome and really compliment the car well. Good choice. I can not help comparing it to my dark blue 1989 Grand Marquis and noting the body and interior differences eight years can bring. Like this one my Merc has gold exterior trim as it is one of only 250 made as a 50th Anniversary Edition with all the bells and whistles.
