I like to think thats an example of how special techniques work in baki....in that they dont seem to most of the time. Even kaku kaioh had to fake his death because shaori didnt mean shit to yujiro 😂

Hanayama just has such a high pain tolerance. Punches that could bust a giant statue were what Spec was putting out and Hanayama took that shit for 5 MINUTES! This fight was glorious

I like him because he actually has to put in an effort when he fights because he is usually fighting against people that are stronger than him.

@@Toneill029 nah, This Fight was hella one sided, After one punch if Hanyama got Spec when he was down or just kept punching without letting him go. Hanayama would have mauled spec. The only time hanayama fights those stronger than him are, Pickle, Musashi, Yujiro, Baki.

The reason why Hanayama isn't phased at all by this is because he already endured the most powerful blows in the series(from the Ogre himself) and compared to the pain Yujiro's blows dealt to him, Speck's attacks feel like nothing.

How does that work though? Say I'm the average man and I get knocked out by a boxer in a fight. Then I fight another average man and he punches me. I'm still going to be phased by his punches even though I've got knocked out by a boxing champion. Hanayama must've just gotten better at fighting his body didn't magically evolve to endure more pain just because yujioro beat him up

True, and another suprising thing about Hanayama in this Baki anime's English Dub is that he's voiced by the same guy who voicing a red talking gun-wielding octopus named Ikalgo from Hunter X Hunter named Greg Chun, which imo sounded cool when I recoginized him.

In all anime I swear the think somehow it's easier to just go full teeth even after that person has lost some. But if you have to put in less teeth in the animation when that person has lost said teeth. Wouldn't that make it easier on you?
