Thanks for this review /test video. just curious, You posted a video back in August 2021 testing the Sandisk luxe, but were only getting about half the read / write speeds. Is it the same drive?

Its the same model but now SanDisk have improved their speed in 2023 Previously Dual Drive Luxe was coming with 128mbps speed Now you are getting almost 400mbps Get the latest GOLD color for the best performance Also heating is reduced drastically

I ordered silver one from the link you given below how I can assure that I ordered 400mbps version ?? Coz amazon not mentioned 400mbps in silver model only gold ones are mentioned to be usb 3.2 & 400mbps

Both silver and Gold now come with 400mbps you can run CrystalDiskMark software in windows and test the speed

They are showing product back side it written the silver one usb 3.1 and they another sticker applied on top of the back and it written usb 3.2 i am really confused right now please help

It seems like the Silver one is better performing than the Gold one. However the Gold one is newer and looks better aesthetically but that makes no difference.

Get whichever color you need After all both have the same chip I will do a video of 3 similar GOLD and SILVER drives to check if there are any differences between a batch of flash drives Stay tuned for that

I recently bought this, but as in this test also, my drive performed way too low in random write of about 0.01 mbps, is this ok, cuz it's speed is low for transferring multiple small files...

How your sliver flash drive 2022 edition 150mbps and gold 400mbps I think there is wrong in test can you make again in another video I think that gold speed 3.2 gen 1 will faster in than sliver 3.1 gen 1 version Note gold are faster in another videos , like acer , amazon , hp flash drives and gold score are really close in all comparison except this video !!!

I have re-run the tests all over again Also created new videos The difference is marginal between the GOLD and SILVER All depends on your personal preference Both the drive which was used are 400mbps

Useless video - the only difference between the two colors is the... (drums rolling) COLOR! they are identical hardware wise. just different color, the Gold one is anodized in Gold color that's all. there you have it..

Thanks for watching the video (Useless video) Sometimes the make of the flash drive makes the difference too (Malaysia, Taiwan or China etc) Some people watch it for entertainment purpose I bet if you do the same test after purchasing these 2 drives, you would find the difference too beside.... (drums rolling) COLOR! I hope this comparison makes the buying decision of my viewers a bit easier, which would give me immense satisfaction for helping some

I needed this video, if you see on amazon, only the color is different, but in specifications they are giving different specs, the heading changes completely, it says that the silver one is a usb 3.1 gen 1, but the gold one is a usb 3.2 gen 1. i checked at so many places. stumbled upon this video. Thank you so much.
