Hey mark great video. I opened my variator on my piaggio typhoon only to find out the previous owner lied to me. There were 4 5.5g rollers and 2 7g rollers. well i guess that explains the vibrations in my foot panels i think. I really appreciate your videos which gave me confidence to tackle the problem myself.

Lots of little things wrong with this one Mark. When the electric starter was not working on my project scooter, I did the normal checks with a multi meter. Just to be sure it was the solenoid though, I bridged the terminals with a wire. Started straight away. Good to double check sometimes it you can before ordering.

My choped up low rider yamaha scooter only has kickstart and nothing else and its loss of power or hp is fd up it only gets going a few seconds after full throttle and some times not at top speed. I kinda know what i need yo fix on it thanks to your video's you are amazing man keep it up. Im doing some more work on it this weekend i will let yall know what happens after i overhaul the belt, and pully berrings. Stay tunned.

I'm wondering if you checked the crank oil seal when you took out the variator. it's unlikely it would run at all but could have been where the excess oil was coming from.

Loving the videos. I got a small problem mines is smoking bad and it brakes up and cuts out and wont be able to start it again till the next day with some carb cleaner in the intake. Im currently using the blue 2 stroke but been told that makes them smoke more than red mixture or will it be to rich and need to lean it out a bit?

Hiya Mark, watched a fair few vid's on the speedfight, my son has one and has had a few problems that ive managed to sort using you help. Thing is, the bike suddenly stopped last week and will not now start again, work to date to try and fix, carb off and clean, compression test (ok), new spark plug, head off and check (ok), reed valve out and check (ok), we have a good spark and fuel going in but no bang ! any idea ? Mark honestly your a talented amazing man amazing videos been watching you for years but I do have a question about my lexmoto fmr 50 when I'm on 30 roads I get to 30 and cruise then all cars are picking up from me I get to 40 and going same speed as them and this is every time and it annoys me as I don't in a if people are going faster if my Speedos out I hit 52mph downhill hitting engine limited my moped is restricted as Well

Mark, how do we do pms? I’ve asked you about this speedy2 that I have, can’t get more than 45kmh out of it. Spacer removed, weights at 6.5, new belt, standard exhaust opened, dumb pipe blocked off, dellorto type open cdi installed… I’m pulling my hair out.

hi mark, my mate has a speedfighter and the wheel isnt moving on revs but then sometimes moves, no bogging or power loss, i am aware the person before put new rollers but npot sure if thats the issue, any ideas ?

Hi Mark, would you be able to take a look at my Speedfight 2? Has trouble starting, the kick start is dud, doesn't pull away, exhaust is loud and smoky, had to change electric choke to manual because it wouldn't work etc.

Hello Mark, I've got a question about my Speedfight 2. It starts without any problem, it stays on but when I want to drive away its going terribly slow. It revs up, but going very slowly forward. After a while the engine runs better and it seems the problem is gone. I can't figure out what the problem is. gr. Michel (sorry for my english)

Hi Mark need a lot of help from you. I have a speedfight 2 100 2006 model . Few weeks ago i tried starting my moped to go to work and it would start I tried starting from electric start and nothing but when kicking it wouldn't turn over either, instead it maid a load popping noise sounding like comin from exhaust then in starting making a chugging noise like an old steam train. So anyway today I stated ran fine for a minute apart from not exceeding 20MPH and them completely died . Not starting from electric start and no compression in kick start.... HELP PLEASSSEEEE

Hi mark, I commented under your last video. I messed around with my air/fuel screw and it wouldn’t start. You advised me to use easy start and adjust from there. Unfortunately, my bike still wouldn’t start. I checked for a spark & cleaned my spark plug yet it still wouldn’t start. What do you think it’d be? Could you help me please? Hi mark , i have a Gilera Storm 2t 07 plate , i ran into a problem when ive done my upgrades , i have a Polini Hi-Speed variator in 5gram rollers - the blue contra spring in the clutch assembly and red (medium 1.4) clutch springs and a stage 6 pro rep exhaust which powerband is at 1050rpm , the bikes pull of is really slow until powerband ? I was wondering you can give me a hand on what i can do , if you need a video of me driving it and showing you and example im more then happy of you can shed some light on what i should do , was thinking lighter rollers 4.8grams , also i really enjoy your videos as there is no informative moped mechanics about that know there stuff , keep up the good work :)

Hi. I have the benelli 49x 2014. And i have problem. When its colder(morning) it gos ok. But when I come back from work it really strugels to acceleration. It has no power(hp) but when it gets going its good. But when I stop 🚦 it it strugels again. Can you help me?
