Ya never hear any American RnR musician ever give credit to the Blues artists that made rock what it is. * Willie, Muddy and Ledbetter * Only the British don't mind giving credit where credit is due. 💖 Spencer Davis and Group

The UK musicians from this era grew up with and loved American music , much of it coming from American military stationed in England . Groups such as the Beatles , Spencer Davis , ,The Rolling Stones , Animals , The Searchers and many more used a great number of American blues , soul and country songs on their early LPs .

Meine Frau hat mir eine Karte für einen kleinen Gig mit Spencer Davis in Süddeutschland geschenkt. ICh hatte nicht viel Lust hinzugehen. Es war einfach großartig. Ich vergesse ihn nie! Es war unglaublich intensiv.

Steve winwood was absolutely useless when he replaced wilko Johnson in dr feel good, that was the start of the end of the group, he just couldn’t cut it with his bad playing, overated
