Nina.. have you ever heard of PMDD? Pre menstrual dysphoric disorder… I was diagnosed with this about 4 years ago.. and it explained so much! I was very sad and irritable and even suicidal before my period.. I got an iud recently to help with the mental symptoms and started meds and I’m feeling so much better.. what you describe is exactly how I felt! Since I was 12!
