I adopted an older piggy (8yrs) during the summer, he only had 6 weeks with me but my goodness in that time he stole my heart... When he died l was devastated but because the only exotic s vet was an hour away ,and l don't drive decided not to have any more piggys . I too saw a couple of months ago the piggy range of homeward in Asda. I now have 5 cushions,2 autumn piggy , 2 Halloween piggy, and 1 Christmas piggy. 2 fluffy throws, 1 Christmas,1 Autumn and 2 sets of piggy bedding. All so cute and a reminder that l once had a beautiful little piggy in my life. RIP sweet Bruno...xx

I literally LOL when Callie extracted her revenge on Nacho. She is not as timid as one might think. The box of goodies looked like the herd is going to be very satisfied customers for awhile, and I hope Nacho’s teeth are ok and grow nicely back in line. 🩷🩷🩷🩵

One of my piggies actually broke off both of her upper front teeth last year while being examined BY THE VET! She was calm the whole time so I guess we both dropped our guard to much and then suddenly she made a break for it and jumped off the examining table. It all went só fast that try as we might we were both unable to catch her in time, poor thing 😢 Luckily she was still very young and her teeth grew back completely in about 10 days or so. Still it was a terrible experience and it definitely taught me one thing: I will never put my piggies on a table ever again! At the vet or otherwise! The vet will now get down on her knees to examine my piggies on the floor 😂

Sarah, I am SO glad that I am an avid watcher (and subscriber) of your channel in spite of not owning any piggies. Due to a recent medical emergency, I have to go once a day to care for my 8 "grand-piggies", and I am confident that I am doing all the right things thanks to your excellent informative videos! They are in 4 separate cages...lots of work! 😇

Hi! You probably dont remember me, I said that my guinea pig isnt exploring when he is out of his cage. Well today I cleaned his cage so I put him out of the cage and he started running and popcorning around me in excitement. It was like a wonder! He really made progress. Your videos helped me a lot! I used to have 2 guinea pigs but one passed away a couple of months ago but now when we get back from our holidays in a week we are going to the pet store (the breeder we got the first to from doesn't well them anymore so we have to go there as where I love breeder are very rare) so we are getting a baby guinea so thanks for all these video as they really help me take care of my guinea pigs thanks!

I missed so many of your videos, I don't know why! I didn't even see the videos of Nacho, or that you got another piggy, he's GORGEOUS!, BEAUTIFUL PIGGY! I didn't know HayPigs has subscription boxes! My piggies love their treats, I have many of their products as well, but lately if I try to purchase from them, it's 20.00$ to ship, so it's a bit much! Hay Pigs are so great, I hadn't yet seen that tunnel, I want to order, but you know, I lost 3 of my beloved piggies over the past 3 and a half months, and it's very hard! I'm getting on in years, I'll be 62 years old in a few months, so I don't know if I should get a couple of more. I have 2 left, and am spoiling them, and most probably one will pass away before the other, so I may have to get a least one more. Of course I'll want to rescue, it's harder where I live in N.Y., the rescues are few and far between, although I'd like to have a Lunkyaria piggy, like Lyra and Nacho, or even BEAUTIFUL Pedro, he was a Peruvian mix I think? It's nice to see you bought another home, congratulations on it!

Hey and Happy Early Halloween! Your piggies are soooo cuteee! I also have a question if you don't mind. I have one guinea pig (my other died recently, waiting a bit to get another) and I want to introduce lap time to her. She had started eating lettuce and hay from my hand, so i think it would be a good time to. Though my only available area is my bed due to other animals and i currently can't do floor time because of the same reason plus cords, and I'm worried that she'll jump off my bed if i try. Is there any way to prevent injuries or should I try to wait for another available space?

I don't think it's something to be worried but my piggies used to love treats but now they'll come to get one and then just spit it out and leave it. I've tried getting them different ones (more natural) but their just turning their noses away. Their eating their food and hay, if i have the dried salads they'll eat them but treats are just a big no 🥲

Hey there ! This is an absolute emergency.. my guniea pig has been showing signs of head tilt and im worried that it might be an ear infection but the worst part is that we dont have any vets here so can u suggest any antibiotics which can help maybe..please helppp

It's important you catch this early, any vet will do, to get antibiotics, ask for baytril or co-trimoxazole. Give them a ring and see if you can be seen today. A course of antibiotics and consultation won't be that expensive. And he definitely needs it if he is showing signs of head tilt!!

I vet i vent to gave my guniea pig some sort of injection near the butt and suggested some sort of drops saying that it would kill the bacteria in the ear is it ok?

Hey, I have a guinea pig who is like 7 weeks old. In his cage he is very energetic but when i put him out of the cage he just stays there and stares at me. How can I make him more playful and curious? He just stays still and he isn't exploring. I am worried. Please tell me what to do.

Pretty normal yes, especially with young or skittish piggies they will rarely sleep properly if hoomans are about!

My piggies sleep all night and there isn’t any poops in their cage overnight, what can I do? I’ve tried leaving a light on but that doesn’t seem to make a difference.

Piggies do vary in when and how active they are - mine seem to do most of their sleeping in the daytime before noon given the chance. I wouldn't worry about it if they are in good health, it's probably just their habit 😊
