Awesome to be part of your adventure into the mountain. :) I also just have to say that I am so proud of Satoshi that it brings me to tears. With each new video I realize how proficient he has become at speaking English but also how much he has gotten over shyness. Get it, Satoshi!!

Look at all that snow! I wish I was there. I love the sound of crunching snow under the snow shoes. I'm glad you did it Shinichi, such a wonderful experience. And I loved the ski cam Satoshi. ⛷😊

What a gorgeous, exhilarating video!! I LOVE snowshoeing! As Satoshi said, it's a very freeing experience to walk over fences and other barriers and to see the world from a different vantage point. Shinichi--you did GREAT!!! Satoshi's short ski-cam footage was magical. You need to have a skiing holiday every year, Satoshi--one can see how much you enjoy it! I love cross-country skiing--I'll have to google whether the ski resorts in Japan have trails for that. The shops were chock full of interesting handmade items. And, as usual, the food looked scrumptious. All the colorful, locally grown, organic vegetables particularly enticed me. I was enthralled by Satoshi's story of the respectful dango offerings--so beautifully Japanese in sentiment. This kind of detail really pulls me in. Thank you SO much for this video. I adored this combination of sport and exploring. ❤️❤️

Loved this one very much! Satoshi's explanation of why the dango was made that way on seperate sticks all being. I have found being of chinese descent that a lot of thought goes into making certain dishes or using special ingredients to make the most delicious and sometimes simple meals etc., Such things like the actual number of ingredients and the size or length of items all puts that twist on lots of Asian cuisine. There is a lot of meaning to what is used, absolutely fascinating and educational. I still have a lot to learn in my old age! Keep up the excellent content Shinichi and Satoshi!

In English we call the little "green sprouts" on top of Satoshi's curry "cress" and it is very easy to grow and very healthy! The curries look so delicious, I adore Japanese style curry
@cantsay
@cantsay 2 жыл бұрын
Spouts and cress are different plants. But I guess there is a vendiagram and you could eat the spout of a cress. Cress is a plant where you eat the mature plant but it is delicate, grows as weeds in a lot of places and is a great foragable. Sprouts are literally sprouts of other plants such as broccoli, kale, almost anyone in the brassica family.
@AHylianWarrior
@AHylianWarrior 2 жыл бұрын
@@cantsay I said "sprouts" in my post because he called them sprouts because he didn't know what they were called in English. I know the difference between sprouts and cress otherwise if that helps
