Also important to remember that if the horse stands still and are completely covered in snow. That means that they are warm and that their coats are isolated and working. If the snow is melting on them then they are cold!

Who doesn't love a spicey Joey, amirite? So glad he's out and about now. He looks very well rested and ready to go. Well done, Esme. You're such a good horse mum. Esme, I have a question after seeing Bruno watch Joey's warmup session. Do you ever let the donkeys and horses socialize together? (Please forgive my non-horsey knowledge.)

So nice to see Joey going again! Question: Are you sad that Joey is lighter now? I was quite sad when the last of my gray mare's dapples dissapeared, but I do enjoy her pure white coat now.

I'm so glad Joey's better! I feel the struggle of box rest as the horse I part-lease has been off for 4 weeks. I think we all really miss our horses when we can't ride or see them and want them to be happy and healthy ❤ I hope Joey continues to do great!

It’s always so nerve racking getting on after some time off especially when he was stabled cuz of his little mishap injury lol, amazing job with him per usual and u were so brave and he was a gentleman after his little bronco moment! Can’t wait to get on my pony Arthur again it’s been only a week but probably will be longer because in the states here we had a wind storm and it blew off the top of where I board’s covered arena.
