I originally didn't like the fact that Eddie wasn't going to be Venom, but somehow, they made it work. It's not really the host, but rather the symbiote that's the real villain.

Insomniac is hitting all three iconic Spider-Man villains. First it was Doc Oct, now we got Venom. And with that foreshadowing, the next game is gonna be Green Goblin.

We also got Carnage teases as well, whether or not that is addressed in a DLC or the third game remains to be seen. I think there's the possibility we get Green Goblin turning into Red Goblin as the finale. Red Goblin (Goblin with the Carnage Symbiote) is extremely deadly and absolutely Joker levels chaotic. Not only enhancing the insanity of Green Goblin with Carnage's brutality and psychopathy but also being far more intelligent with Norman Osborn behind the reins versus Cleetus Cassidy. I think it would make the final chapter far better if we had Green Goblin and Carnage as the central antagonists. With Cleetus fueling Norman's spiral into madness and obsession with Spider-Man and becoming increasingly neurotic and dangerous to everyone. Truly devolving into a monster by the end that cannot be saved and will go to the lengths of straight up murdering everyone Peter holds dear (and successfully kills MJ or Miles.)

The fact that this game's Spider-man has his Venom like in his own movie like the part when he healed Peter's broken arm and the fact he bit off Kraven's head, to me it's just terrible that stuff and I feel like Venom is way better being like how he is in all of Spider-man's stories that's without the eating-people's-heads-with-his-teeth thing and without the painful healing-broken-bones thing too.

For those wondering, in the Miles Post credits scene, the girl standing next to Albert Moon is Cindy Moon, who in the comics is Silk. I predict that in a few years' time, there will be a Silk game and possibly a Spiderman 3 with Silk in it as Spiderman 2 has 2 spidermen, and therefore, Spiderman 3 would have 3 main characters. However, this may be highly unlikely as 5 games with similar maps may get a bit boring after a while, but I feel that Imsomniac may do an outstanding job on a possible Spiderman 3 or Spinoff.

@redrexix8106 I think they shouldn't make the stakes bigger. Venom is the biggest stakes possible here. Spider-Man 3 should make the stakes be far more personal. Not City wide virus or Symbiote Invasion, but strictly Peter and everything and one he cares about

this truly is new age gaming. the amount of dynamicness in every fight is crazy. I was shocked every time there was a seamless cutscene transition, or normal gameplay became cutscenes based on your actions, like when sandman throws you into a wall

Nothings wrong with being a begining boss. A lot of video game creators will actually put more work into the beginning levels too make sure the players are hooked, or at the very least experienced something enjoyable on the chance they don't complete the game

Wow. That ending is like a total flip of the Sam Raimi trilogy. When Spidey defeated Green Goblin, it was Harry who shouted “What have you done?!” after discovering his father’s dead body. In this game it’s Norman who blames Spidey for what happens.

Not only is this an awesome game but it's also very emotional, all the Symbiotes boss fights always had an emotional pull on my heart, think about it the Symbiote lets out the true feelings that is hiding behind the human shell while the human shell wants to fix everything the Symbiote wants to use that hatred and the people who are fighting the Symbiotes are an emotional turmoil due to fighting their friend or loved one

yeah the simbiotes really did hit an emotional way most of the people wouldent understand since they are just focus on how cool gameplayis graphics etc but when you really listen and pay attention to what they say the tone of voice spiderman has while fighting MJ this game was truly amazing.

Imo they should make a side mode based on the villains/boss fights. In the story it chooses who we play as for each fight, but imagine a side/endgame mode where we choose which Spider-Man to play as, select a villain to fight, and it throws us in a brand new fresh arena/environment to keep it different from the story. Considering that this version of Venom can brush off multiple hits from anti-venom, I would go a step further and say that he's stronger than his comic-book counterpart.

@@kirin8735 Why not? I realize that Eddie is anti-Venom in the comics, but that's beside the point. Anti-venom can dissolve other symbiotes with a single touch. So, with that in mind, this version of Venom is stronger because he can brush off multiple hits from Anti-Venom.

They somehow did it they stuffed as many villains into one game kraven, venom, lizard, mysterio, black cat & scream yet it didn’t feel rushed or bloated for the sake of being a big game they fleshed out all the characters giving them ample screen-time and not rushing a single story. Spider-Man works well when its fleshed out between 10-15 hours and not an hour movie.

So much happened at the end…I can’t handle it all Insomniac has made a game series that has gone above and beyond anything we could’ve asked for or expected! AND IT’S STILL GOING FROM HERE CARNAGE, GREEN GOBLIN, AND EVEN SILK!!! And Peter…Peter finally being able to hang up the webs and be Peter for a while, the city may need him again eventually, but for now, Miles and Cindy…I’m so happy and excited

You know, we need more symbiote anti-heroes, I was really surprised when I saw scream, her host is Donna Diego, there are a whole bunch of symbiotes, Venom, Carnage, Toxin, Anti-Venom, Riot, Lasher, Agony, Scream, Silence, Mayhem, Mania, Phage, Hybrid, and Knull, the god of all symbiotes

@@GreaterGrievobeast55 Knull, Is a multiversal villain and the reason symbiotes exist in the first place, and I loved seeing harry as agent venom, and then actually becoming full venom, it just like Ultimate Spider-man 2005, and the ultimate spider-man animated series on Disney XD, although I strongly prefer antihero Venom as Eddie Brock, I still see what they were trying to homage, and MJ becoming was a huge surprise, I was not expecting that at all, plus I knew that the venom symbiote could spread pieces of itself, but I didn’t know it became a completely different symbiote when it bonded to a new host, and the final chapter should have the goblin and carnage

The ending feels a little bit dissatisfied I would like to see more of norman planning to get his revenge on Spiderman without dock ock just on his own him injecting himself the green goblin serum or making the glider. Than peter retirement just when carnage is still running around lol.

Spider-Man: Cindy Moon/ Silk & Spider-Man 3 are going to be PEAK. Can almost guarantee that Eddie Brock is going to take up the mantle of Venom, Cletus Cassidy/ Carnage will be a boss, and Norman Osborn/ Green Goblin will be the final boss after testing the "G-Serum" on himself before attempting to rehabilitate Harry with it. DLC for this game is going to be phenomenal as well. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us. I strongly believe that Insomniacs Spider-Man is the closest we'll ever get to a modern-day equivalent of Neversoft's Spider-Man games on the original Playstation. They've even incorporated the same bosses across all installments. Albeit, mixed and matched. It's almost unreal.
