That is what i like about Cletus, his symbiote and carnage is truly his. While Eddie Brock doesn't seem to be entitled to his symbiote and Venom despite being the one who came up with the name.

@@theplaguegamer6216 carnage is to Cletus what spiderman is to Peter, a name and that is what make other symbiote empowered so disappointing. Venom is my favorite but he have no group to stand on in term of status.

The reason carnage and cletus are a perfect bond is because carnage was born from venom while merging with cletus's blood, the symbiotes first combination for it's codex is derived from Cletus's DNA

Making Cletus Kassidy the leader of a fire worshiping cult was genius! When he said “Truth… Judgment… and Carnage…” it gave chills, I really hope we see him in a dlc if there’s ever going to be one. I so cannot wait to kick this psycho’s ass when he becomes Carnage and it’d be really cool to see Miles bonded with the Carnage symbiote. I can’t wait!

Here's the biggest different between Venom and Carnage. Harry and the symbiote are together. They are Venom. Cletus Cassidy is Carnage.

@@srikanthramprasad565 Venom has had a lot of hosts. Granted Eddie is the main one. Flash had Venom at one point, and I do believe Harry did (outside of the game) a few time(s) as well, mostly Venom and Eddie are the two paired up...but as we all know Venom really wants Peter the most.

I think the DLC for this game will be entirely focused on Carnage, since it would make sense to bring the symbiotes back into the city since that's the main theme for this sequel. I think if he was the main villain for the third game, he would be a lot stronger than Norman and Otto, which I don't think is the path that Insomniac Games is going for.

Hard to say considering the ending. It will NOT feel right having Miles being the one to focus on Carnage...I hope they bring Peter back for Carnage at least but the devs have already said Spider-Man 3 will be focused on Miles...which honestly I was liking 2's style, switching between the two. Needed more to the game to make the city feel more alive honestly, but still I don't know how I feel about Miles just taking over entirely as they you know didn't finish the Symbiote threat off yet...feels wrong as Peter knows what the Symbiotes are capable of and that one's loose yet?

At first i had no idea who this was i assumed he was just some C tier villain in one of the old comic books or some enemy Insominac created for Yuri to fight but the minute he dropped that Carnage line i was worried for Spidey in the next game if Venom gave him that much trouble in the game i dont want to imagine what Carnage is gonna do to our poor peter

I mean, there were multiple villains called The Flame in The Comics but the red hair, disregard for human lives and unapologetic psychopathy pretty much confirmed in many players minds who he was even before Yuri mentioned Cletus Kasady being one of his aliases.

Wasn’t a fan of woody harrellson as cletus. I know it’s a video game, but this cletus has the look and voice down. Also the demeanour, I actually find him scary and unnerving. This cletus reminds me of a mix between Charles Manson and Ted bundy.

He actually doesn't. In the comics: Post-Symbiote, he starts/leads the cult called the Flame. The Flame worships the Symbiote/Darkness God Knull (the father of all Symbiotes). Carnage is still a serial killer in this version. In this game unlike Venom, Carnage can explain who he his and why he's crazy. This is why he has followers because they understand it
