Haha its not fast it just helps when I’ve read this series before at some point in my life. Being into comics since age 8 has its perks especially now that I made a channel haha If you like spawn then you will for sure like this. A lot of that 90s goodness in these pages as well minus the intense violence and mature themes spawn has.

I appreciation you pointing out what one might NOT like about it even while asserting what you like. I'm really picky about 90's stuff (the art over writing trend is not for me) so you just saved me some space on my shelves! Great review!

My pleasure! Thank you for leaving this comment! I try really hard to get across my feelings on a book or story while making sure the viewer knows it’s my subjective thoughts and the book still could have some positives or negatives depending on the reader. I plan to mainly make this channel the home of subjectivity where all opinions and tastes are welcome and we can have conversations about likes and dislikes and possibly see things differently by challenging our own thoughts and views on books or stories. I find the idea that taste in books like choices in life can’t always fall into a shade of black and white that can be blanketed to all books. Thank you for your comment though and feeling comfortable enough here to say you didn’t like this specific book sense that’s the goal at the end of the day!

I recently picked up this Omnibus. I loved the World 2099, especially Spider-Man and the X-Men.

2099 is a very cool and imaginative world that was short lived sadly! If you like those 2 then I highly recommend the Doom 2099 title!

Great review as always! I always loved this character. I read the original first 12 issues or so then fell off so a lot of this omni is new to me. Hard to believe these stories are over 30 years old. I also chose the classic cover....and you are spot on.....not the best Spider-Man stories but is fun to read. Rick Leonardi is such an underrated artist....

Yeah it’s very strange to see that as well haha remembering a time when 2099 was a newer concept in comics and now it’s a fossil hahae And yeah I feel due to how big the fan base for the character is I’m prob in the minority when I say it’s not in the top tier spidey stories for me but then again we have been VERY spoiled with a lot of great Spidey runs and stories so it wouldn’t be easy getting this into the top 5 or 10 but it is ALOT of fun!
