This web argument is a bit silly, I wish you talked about the upgrades they did in SM2 where now you can grab enemies and sling em into each them other 2-3 times, slam em down and disarm enemies weapons and shields by grabbing it out of their hand and throwing it back into them honestly the most fun upgrades being the web skill ones. That being said If Peter didn’t have the Anti Venom or spider arm abilities he be way too generic as all his stuff combat wise is mostly recycled from the first game and everyone rather play as miles with how much cooler his abilities have gotten and with how strong the new enemies are getting Peter definitely needed an upgrade after 10 years to stay in the game. Also you should know this if ya don’t I have no idea why you made this video but In the third game as you know they be adding a third main spider character which has organic webs and she mostly have the web centred attacks so it should fill your craving for more web styled gameplay.

the reason peter kept the anti venom suit is because insomniac wanted to give him a power up, miles has all these electric abilities and the enemies are only getting stronger, peter can only go so far with just technology, and insomniac said they werent gonna follow the normal type of spiderman story they wanted to go down their own route, tho it would be nice for peter to somehow incorpriate his spider arms with the symbiote

they are definitely going to get rid off the anti-venom suit with the Carnage DLC, and we'll be back to the normal and grounded peter gameplay in the third installment

One of the primary reasons they introduced the antivenom suit was so that we could have access to the symbiote abilities in free roam after the initial story. I thought it was cool at first but now I'm kind of in the middle in terms of weather he should keep it or not

I think the addition of the arms and the symbiote powers together was a smart choice to give fans the options to roleplay as either a more armored powered up spider-man vs a symbiote powered up spider-man. With the gadgets still being present and effective you can also just go the webs and fists route too. Although, I think they should make it so you can chain basic strikes into web strikes for more combo potential.

good idea although here is how I would do it: - Silk should get her powers in SM3 and should her powers to Miles in the post credit scene and make her fully playable in her own spin off game. So the playable characters should be Peter, Miles and Venom (Venom spin off game has been leaked). For Green Goblin, he should have 5 round of boss fights and should be like one of them (pick a route): - 616 Green Goblin for all rounds. First he beats Miles and either out him in a comma or captured, then Peter fights and won for the first time and tries to find out who Green Goblin is. The fights Venom and Venom also loses. Then sometime before Peter's second round, Norman finds out Peter's Spider Man and hurts MJ badly and MJ spends most of the runtime in a comma. Peter fights him round 2. The in the third round, is should be Miles, then Venom and Peter finishes Green Goblin off. - Green Goblin starts with 616 design and attacks Miles either captures or comma. Then Peter defeats him. Round 2 would be Ultimate Green Goblin and Venom would fight him but loses. Then same thing like I said for the previous point, Peter finishing him off round 2&3. - Green Goblin 616 design, attacks Miles, Miles gets captured or comma then Peter defeats him. Green Goblin somehow gets the Carnage symbiote and fights Venom but Venom loses and then same thing as the previous points, Peter finishes the job round 2&3.

I don’t believe Peter will keep the anti-venom suit in the 3rd game. I think the only reason it was incorporated into Spider-Man 2 was for combat specifically against the symbiotes. With the symbiotes now gone, there is no reason for Peter to keep the suit.

I really don’t understand the obsession with getting rid of the anti venom suit, it’s the ultimate symbolism for Peter as a character reaching an all be it rocky but healthy position in his life. Getting rid of that almost symbolizes him regressing, as a character. Plus Norman being able to fight peter can easily be explained through him developing anti symbiote tech, like sound bombs and other sonic type weapons.

venom powers were brought in the game so peter can be equal to miles with his bioelectricity powers, but as you said, keeping the venom powers in the 3rd game would be weird, but there aren't any other cool powers for peter to be given, so they're in a trap.

i never saw spiderman as a character that can carry a trilogy of games gameplay wise, the core of what makes spiderman's powers cool is their simplicity, insomniac pretty much covered his entire skillset and powers in the first game, its hard to add new stuff without turning spiderman into venom or iron man (if the solution is to add gadgets), and worst of all, without messing with the story.

Maybe they'll go for a "Ultimate Goblin" look, a giant monster would be a lot more realistic than a guy in a suit on a glider. I could also see him giving the Anti Venom suit to Harry as "the only way to heal his condition." Similarly to how half this game he had symbiote and half the hame he didnt. Maybe he'll have it for a part of the game but then towards the middle he takes it off and then it would make fighting Goblin if hes normal human Goblin a lot harder

I saw someone mention a concept that if Peter keeps the anti venom suit for too long it will burn away his Spider-Man powers. He would then have a choice to keep the anti venom suit and lose his powers or to lose the suit and keep his Spider-Man abilities. He chooses to keep his Spider-Man abilities. I'm hoping that's what Insomniac will go for.

Well, I just don't want Spider-Man to turn back into the red because I know that the Anti-Venom Symbiote won't affect his mind as it's said & the Spider-Man 3 game will be very cool to play with Spider-Man keeping the Anti-Venom Symbiote. I mean it has become part of his dna, right?

I wonder, with Peter having the Anti-Venom Suit, how would they make Green Goblin keep up with? Maybe they will have Norman not just go into regular Green Goblin, but maybe into Red Goblin or Ultimate Goblin.

Hasn't Insomniac claimed they fully intend to make future installments all about Miles? I'm more scared about them sacrificing story and gameplay in the next game in favor of pushing narratives and agendas like all of the entertainment industry these days.

They under-used the abilities and gadgets. If they added more gadgets and abilities that you could unlock, it’d make it much more customisable.
