I have mixed feelings about Peter Parker making an attempt to kill green goblin. That’s not very Peter Parker:SpiderMan of him. Kinda ruined the character for me. At the end of Far From Home, Peter Parker was perceived by the world as a killer. In the end of No Way Home, Peter attempted to kill green goblin. I think for a superHERO there’d be more hope in this hero. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man created a lot of the problems in the plot. It’s annoying! But I’ll watch it again. I’ll give it a second chance

When Andrew says “I love you guys” and “I’ve always wanted brothers”. It really made me feel that he was the loneliest Spider-Man out of the three of them. He went through the most trauma and just wants to feel that sort of love and compassion again with someone. Im also glad they didn’t make Tobey look younger, it really gave him that big brother vibe and that he was the “wise old” one.

Tobey stopping tom really hit me when you realize almost all his villains die in the original spider-man series. This literally means he knows what its like to have to take a life or even take it by accident(the glider wasnt tobeys fault but he couldve saved goblin at the end of the day but chose not to)and didnt want toms spidey to have to feel that. Meaning he had remorse for the lives taken in his universe. And the fact that after all that they still had that loveable comicbook peter feel at the end from andrew to tobey to tom made it just feel like a true spider-man film and the jokes about baby ironman really hit home

Unpopular opinion:I haven’t seen the film yet because I really feel skeptical about the concept after learning spoilers. Maguire and Garfield shouldn’t have been in it, and neither the villains of the Raimi and Webb films. MCU’s Spider-Man should’ve stayed as stand alone like the other two film series(having both generations in the MCU will confuse younger audiences who never grew up on the Raimi and Webb films). As far as I can predict, this film’s only purpose is to cash in on nostalgic fan service because MCU has become lazy and has run out of strong storytelling. Any comments?

The complaints and the term itself "fan service" drives me insane. Super Hero Movies are FAN SERVICE that's the fawking point of them. We are fans of Super heroes and comics so "Fan Service" is exactly the gawd damn reason to make the movies. This movie was incredibly well done. I, actually, successfully avoided all the super spoilers. Also, I do buy Ned being able to open a portal because Strange's issue was trying to "beat a river into submission." Ned is more of a go with the flow kind of character so... yeah.

Oh my god, i completely forgot about that, but i remember now! That actually makes a lot sense. That's amazing, they really did think of everything. Strange was really frustrated and hard headed due to his ego and doubts so he wasn't able to focus, but Ned is just pretty aware and happy with himself so it came more natural. I'm sure some other sorcerer trainees don't have much of a problem creating them as well. Good catch.

I could be wrong here, but wasn’t Ned only able to make portals because he put on the ring from Dr Strange? I loved that we got a Miles Morales reference, if somewhat indirectly lol. Dafoe KILLS as the Goblin-he's just so good. All the villains were portrayed well and I like that Doc Ock helps in the final battle. Did NOT see May dying but it does leave the door open for some possible Mephisto shenanigans later. It would be absolutely crazy if Sony and Marvel had the balls to do Spider-man 4 in the Raimi-verse and Amazing Spider-man 3. Although I guess this movie kind of serves as a redemption for how terrible part 3 was and the fact that Garfield never got his own third film. My unanswered questions are: Is Mysterio really dead? Will Miles Morales ever pop up in the MCU? What the hell are they doing with Venom? He gets popped over to the MCU, drops off some goo, and then gets popped back? For what purpose? Anyways....great movie! Crazy times!

Well, I don't care cause their scenes together make my heart felt super warm and mushy. I'm glad they both got the second chances they deserved (like the villains). Andrew's version is a little more dorky here and I loved it & just so happy Tobey's finally find some peace (he's always suffering so much in his version). I love that Tom Holland's Spider-man has finally grown up and must dealt with life the way he never did, with no back-ups. The ending was bittersweet, Peter making all the hard choices because he's the only one who could (down to his self-sewned suit), but he really became his own man.

Jeremy I just watched Dr. Strange and they explicitly explained the power of the sling ring. When you have the ring all you need to do is visualize where you want to go, and "the clearer the picture the easier it is." Given that Ned wanted to see Peter badly it made sense he was able to do what he did. In the Dr. Strange movie he was still clouded by his pride which is why it took him some time. So actually it wasn't the lazy troupe of "character pulls ability out of their ass."

This movie was an absolute love letter to everyone that’s been following the eight Spiderman movies over the last 20 years. I cried three different times, my theater was cheering and screaming, it was a better movie experience for me than Endgame was. This WAS Tom Holland’s origin story as standing on his own officially as Spiderman. Letting go of Stark tech, making his own classic suit. The arc of learning responsibility, losing his loved one, then ultimately learning how to be a real hero and letting go of his anger. The previous Spidermen got that in their first movies, we got Tom’s in this one. This was truly the moment where he stands alone and sets aside being a kid and becomes the struggling, simple hero on his own that we know and love. I absolutely loved this movie.

JUST saw this lastnight. Honestly, as someone who HATED the Andrew Garfield MOVIES, he absolutely stole the show whenever he was on-screen. The scene where he saves MJ was surprisingly the most emotional scene in the movie for me, and both he and Zendaya did a phenomenal job with such a short exchange. When she asks him "are YOU okay?", and you see his face... man, that was just so well-written, acted, and directed. Honestly, this movie just felt like PEAK "Spider-Man". Tons of crossovers, but done in a highly meaningful way, the "twist" of Aunt May being "his Uncle Ben" worked amazingly well, and it managed to end in such a way that I'm actually just as excited to see what comes next for Spider-Man. It's a bummer that he's essentially divorced from the MCU again, but I honestly think Spider-Man could do with a few more grounded stories, before coming back to deal with more "cosmic" threats again. I'm also a BIT bummed that Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock/Venom doesn't look like it's going to show up. I hated the first Venom, but I actually thought Venom 2 did a great job establishing the dynamic between Eddie and Venom, and I kind of wish we could've seen that version of the character(s) interact with Tom Holland's Spider-Man. On the other hand, it does open the opportunity for a completely different take on Eddie and Venom; Tom Hardy's version took some getting used to. Plus, it opens up the POSSIBILITY (however unlikely) that they could take another stab at a better version of Carnage. Just call him "Maximum Carnage", but that's the one character I genuinely want a completely new take on; someone way more savage.

The reason it took Strange so long to master it was because he didn't even know magic existed and had years and years of his own biases and things to break down. Ned's still young enough to where those things aren't weighing him down, and he also knows (like the rest of the world does) that magic is real so he doesn't have to be convinced of it.

Are we not going to talk about William Dafoe's line "I'm something of a scientist myself." that huge throwback to not only the meme but the first movie.

It was totally a wink at the audience because of that line's meme value.

Just got home from the theatre No Way Home was one of the greatest movie experiences I have ever had. I loved that I missed the internet leaks for Macguire & Garfield being in the movie so that was a great surprise! Loved this film!

I thought you were spot on with everything you said. This was truly one of the best if not the best MCU movie in years imo.. the way they really took it seriously and didn't just cash in on the nostalgia, giving some characters unexpected yet much needed closure, exploring other fun dynamics in a meaningful way and not just a a marvel throughway joke after a heavy moment, the character and emotional growth and strengthening of this version of Spiderman as an interesting story to tell and all the potential that comes with the current situation.. anyway, yeah I really liked it.
