Spider360 2000 Series Arachnid Electronic Dart Board Unboxing

Hello everyone! In this video I unbox a Spider 360 2000 Series commercial grade dart board. This dart board was released in November 2019 and I haven’t seen a video posted yet of an unboxing of this style dart board. You’ll see the box arrive on a freight truck, unboxing, assembly, and playing on the dart board. I also clarify some of the confusing aspects of Arachnid, Galaxy, Spider 360, and Bullshooter since many dart boards out there tend to have one of these logos displayed in the top marquee. Great video man, nice walkthrough of the setup..... I love to play soft tip darts, I usually have to go to the bars to play on the Arachnid machines, love the machines...... just sometimes the bar scene gets old because I don't drink, but enjoy playing cricket with all my friends at the bars, I would love to have one of these at my place could practice and get my game even better plus have friends come over, it would be a blast!!!

Wow, very nice. I have been looking at this board, it's not cheap. I have gotten a few prices for old boards that have been in bars. I'm just not sure if I want a board that has thousands of games played on it and how hard it would be to get parts. This board is so nice and will probably last over 20 years. Can you play against coin opperated (bar) spider machines. Or only home version? Also does it show opponents shooting on screen?

Chris Bach It’s my understanding that you cannot see opponents shoot on the screen which makes me wonder what the camera is used for however, I can see myself in the camera when I’m throwing. Maybe a future update will allow people to see each other? You can only play against others that have the Spider 360 home version. After a tournament game is played it will show a list of everyone’s ranking and where you rank with everyone else.

If I recall I paid $3000 for everything which included free shipping. It looks like they recently raised their price by $1000 for the Spider 2000 model. Yikes!

the camera is for when you play someone online to make sure they are not cheating when they throw

Great video - this helped me make my decision to buy this machine and to buy it with the international segments from Hemispheres specifically. I won't need to do this for awhile in theory, and, do you have or know of a video that shows the process of unplugging the innards from the board and then going in to clean out broken tips from the segments? I did get a look at the connection there and it did not seem intuitive where to grab or what direction to pull not to break a bunch of connection points and make myself very sad. Also, while the bar darts that come with it are great for my kids, I have not yet found a tip + dart combination at 18g that doesn't burrow and snap off even with the most care and rotation taking in removal. Thoughts there? How about 16g? Again, great video - so helpful.

Replying to myself in case anyone sees these questions - I tracked down a supplier to the pro soft tip events and they told me most of their customers use Cosmo Fit Point Plus tips. I purchased some and that has immediately fixed the broken tip issues at both 16g and also 18g. Avoid Viper Tufflex II or Viper Tufflex III - neither are good. Viper does sell a 16g dart that will accept the Arachnid quarter inch "bar tips" that setup also is durable. But if you have 2BA thread darts then go with the Cosmo Fit Point Plus and you should be happy.

If only this machine came with the Bull Shooter software. I know it's a money thing for the coin vendors but how many people have Leader Board? Evening playing at the bar on Bull Shooter worldwide is only 200 active players in the early evenings. Easy to get a match and fun but it seems less would have these machines at home. Great video and thank you for sharing.

I bought this machine in January. It's very high quality, essentially a Bullshooter without the Bullshooter, and, the online element doesn't add much. To your question about the Leader Board, 301 Open/Open for January (in theory a big month after the holidays/gifts/enthusiasm) had about 50 people at the end of the month. Leader Board is 3 best of unlimited and the entire bull is worth 50 (big target for 50 pts) so there were also multiple individuals tied for first with three perfect games apiece finishing in six darts. Feb is the same setup so if you want to "win" you'll need those same three six dart finishes. it's probably just like that every month. Also, the Bullshooter app does track your cricket and 01 stats on your phone if you sign in for the leaderboard.

How did you get the international segments?

I requested the international segments through Hemispheres Amusements which is the company where I purchased the dart board. Ask to speak with Kurt. He’s the one that was able to get the international segments installed before he sent it to me. I talk about the international segments and how I was able to acquire them in my video.

It's been a year. What have you learned about this machine and do you still recommend it?

Hi Rick. Me and the family have had hours of fun playing it. The kids enjoy playing Bermuda Triangle and Tic Tac Toe which are two of several side games that can be played on the dart board. I’ve have had zero problems with the board and would definitely recommend it to anyone that is thinking about purchasing one.
