That's a throwback to the late 60's early 70's modernist aesthetic movie making. THX 1138, Rollerball, A clockwork Orange, Fahrenheit 451, Even the Conversation. Small intimate story with grand visuals. Kubrick would be proud.

Just watched this movie, Kubrick would be disappointed, feels like a movie full of filler material… I understand what this comment is talking about with the visuals but the movie is absolutely nothing going on for the first hour

It seems to Me The English, South Africans, Australia ---- everybody can drop their accent & speak English like North Americans but it's MUCH harder for Us to throw on a proper accent like them. 🤨

I remember reading it in a "Best of Short Fiction" compilation a few years back. I really enjoyed it and it stuck with me, looking forward to seeing it onscreen.

Yeah, I love that story. When the casting news first broke, I assumed Hemsworth would be playing the Teller character, but having him on the other side of the glass is a much better decision. Gives me hope they might do a good job with this one.

This looks pretty good. or at least better than it will be. There's still something about Netflix films though, I don't know what it is, but they're missing something. I wonder if they do test screenings because I've never heard of a Netflix movie doing a reshoot. They must make their movies like they make their shows.
