Sam Raimi definitely channeled all of his horror expertise when he was writing Venom (and just the symbiote as a whole) The way Venom be screeching and making unholy sounds is genuinely peak Venom (in terms of fear factor)

It has some good fight scenes but a lot of the story sort of sucks. The whole venom arc is mid af, Topher Grace is probably the least intimidating venom of all time. Plus the dumb Harry forgetting everything storyline. Compared to 1 and 2 is absolutely sucks but it’s still a fine movie.

@@critanddam9031I disagree, it was a new take on the hero paradigm. We always see a heros upbringing, but we never get to see what happens when that power devolves into pride and spider man 3 explores that idea very well. Spider man 3, although slightly overcrowded, tells a pretty great story about redemption and conscientious action in the end. It was a lot to unpack in the short amount of time, but ultimately it acts as a testament to the fact that you can't always escape your wrongdoings, so it's best to stop it before it begins. I think it was satisfying, but even so a movie doesn't always have to be satisfying so long as it sends a message imo. Anyways, I recognize that this was a very long and unsolicited reply, but I thought I might give my two cents on this movie

sounds weird but this honestly is my favourite of the raimi trilogy. Considering how Venom was forced into the movie, they still did a great job with him. The battle between Pete and Harry is cheesy drama at it's finest and the birth of Sandman is one of the best scenes in cinema hystory.

I'm not gonna lie, I actually liked Harry getting amnesia in this movie. Throughout the past couple films, he hasn't been the best of friends to Peter (I'm saying this having rewatched the first film recently), and seeing him with a clean slate being pals with Peter put a smile on my face. It makes his fall in the second act and their redemption in the third hit all that much harder.

The reason why the movie handled 3 villains so poorly is that Venom wasn't supposed to be a villain at that point. The writers were forced to add him when they planned to use him later.

i remember seeing this movie for the first time in theaters with my cousins and aunty and to me I honestly thought this was the best movie ever , rewatching it a few weeks ago and to be honest I still enjoyed it as I did as a kid. Spiderman 3 is my favourite of the trilogy. It gets hate for not being a good ending. I think its the best ending it could've gotten. The symbiote suit, venom and eddie, sandman, mj, Harry's death. All was peak cinema.

This remains the best spiderman film ever made, since I was a kid i was fascinated by this film, peter's ark is the best part here from arogant to evil to wise again. Also Topher Grace is the most accurate villain and this is coming from someone who read all venom comics. People are just goofy and they dont even know shit they talk.

The best Spider-Man movie in YOUR opinion. It’s not like it’s fact or anything. I think that it’s the weakest in the trilogy but it’s still a fun watch. Also wasn’t Eddie Brock like huge in the comics? Topher Grace did not look anything like Brock apart from having blonde hair. Huge miscast.

I loved S2, it's still my favorite of all of them, but I enjoyed 3. When It was the PS2 era, I really loved the game, it was so enjoyable, I played that thing like 20 times over cause I didn't really own that many games. It was sooo fun man. Ya, People have valid reasons to dislike this movie, but they take it to the extreme and some dislike it to bandwagon. Take my sub homie, this was entertaining asf.
