This is wild. I just started listening to this Mormon stuff and always wondered what people meant when they talked about temple. Super helpful.

During the inititory, the person giving you a blessing puts a drop of oil on your head and then puts their middle and pointer finger in water to swipe it over your forehead. (Like in lion king…… “simbaaaaa” ) 😅 so the you are washed and anointed “only symbolically.” I love that they have to say that because they used to wash and anoint each body part physically

This is a wonderful site. You are well-informed and very well-spoken. It is time the world learned all about Mormonism. God requires so many things to be done! I kind of feel left out as a secular spiritualist. I reach out to my Mormon friends and hope that they survive the next 5 years as so many Mormon secrets are exposed in the social media. It won’t be easy.

Oh my god, so I left the church back In July and genuinely haven’t thought about the temple too much (it was a sore subject for me and part of my shelf breaking) but hearing you talking about it (great job explaining btw!!) made me laugh so much. This is such a beautiful experience for me listening to this and laughing about it. I feel so at peace - thank you!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Also, when I went through the temple for the first time, a situation happened and I asked to leave, and I was told I couldn’t. So when the speaker came on and said if anyone wants to leave do so now, I was confused and cried the whole way through. Left within 5 mins of getting to the celestial room. Extremely traumatic - and NO a consent.

Well besides the handshakes and things, the symbols on the garments... a compass, a square, and a ruler are literal masonry tools used while performing masonry, which makes sense given the story behind the free masons who the story goes were masons building the Solomon temple and witnessed what went on in the temple and incorporated it into their ritual, which we actually know can't be true but at least the story makes sense why they then use the compass ruler and square as their symbols which you see on all free mason temples... what doesnt make sense is if Joseph Smith was restoring what originally went on in the temple, even if he used the masons to discover it if we assume the story of them actually witnessing it and had parts of the true ritual, but why use their symbols? Clearly the free MASON's symbols of masonry tools came from the masons and not those they witnessed in the Solomon temple, so why are mormons putting a ruler, a compass, and a square, MASONRY TOOLS USED IN MASONRY, OR BUILDING WITH BRICK, ON THEIR GARMENTS... which are apparently so sacred you have to cut them up or preferably burn them before you can chuck ur underwear and without which holy garments turn to rags you can use to wipe up your counters and shit.... anyway, if you think about it, even if we assume the impossible actually happened and the free masons had parts of this sacred ritual Smith then took and restored, again to the ritual performed by those the masons who built the solomon temple witnessed, using the masonry symbols the free masons use by putting the same ones on mormon garments makes no sense... clearly the mason tools the free masons use as symbols came from them and not those they witnessed while building the temple... so why put them on garments, let alone make them the sacred parts of garments which turn to any other old rag without them? Also I always found it odd that the church is fine with being a free mason and several card carrying mormons are... its okay to go perform the tokens for example with non members in your men's club?

What I really love is that if salvation is free, why do temples have cash registers? I mean, paying to rent garments? Oh, so higher heaven and all that is only for those who can afford it.

Examples of prayer, baptism, and the sacrament are all spelled out in scripture, those things are true and important, but Temple stuff isn’t even in the scriptures. That tells me it’s something the Lord doesn’t expect of us. Then to find out that Brigham Young and Wilford Woodruff met together in a small building in St. George Utah, where they worked together to “come up with“ the endowment ceremony. They literally wrote the script for everything. It’s also important to understand that they were both freemasons and had been practicing Freemasonism most of their lives. It’s a lie that Joseph Smith was a mason, it’s a lie perpetrated by Brigham and others. The ceremony that Joseph, Hyrum and others participated in at Kirtland is completely different and worlds apart from what the church does today in its temples. The original Brigham Young temple session was nine hours long, a person had to be a polygamist to gain entry, the husband would wash his wife completely as she stood naked in a bathtub, he would dry her off, and then pour oil over her head and anoint her entire body from head to toe. The actors depicting Adam and Eve were fully naked that entire time in front of everyone. Lucifer was also naked. It’s very important to understand that Brigham had three goals, power, money, and sex. He was able to achieve all three by hijacking church members and taking them west, and scaring the hell out of everyone by telling them of the horrific things that would happen to them if they didn’t pay 10% of their gross income to the church. By the way, Brigham and all of the apostles were exempt from paying any tithing. That’s just the bullshit kind of man Brigham was. And his third objective was achieved when he married 56 women. He was completely surrounded by pussy 24/7. He was in control of everything, he would tell other men to give up their wives and give them to various church leaders. If they didn’t obey there were repercussions. Sometimes involving castration. When Brig died he was worth millions of dollars and he had beautiful mansions in Salt Lake City and in St. George while other members of the church lived in poverty and squalor. Joseph Smith was a great man of huge integrity. Brigham Young was the total opposite. All of these lies we hear constantly about Joseph, Polygamy, incest, cheating on his wife, marrying women who already had husbands, etc. is all 100% bullshit lies that were told by Brigham Young and those who followed and worshiped him. Joseph is a true prophet of God, and the Book of Mormon is true. The book of Mormon prophecies include many regarding the LDS church falling on its face, the LDS church robbing poor people of their money in order to build its fine sanctuary‘s, and the LDS church lying and deceiving as it hides it billions from its membership in order to con them into continuing to pay more tithing. The Book of Mormon also speaks of the current LDS church’s practice of priestcraft, which is a paid ministry. The first presidency receives over $400,000 salary per year, the Q12 receives $240,000 each, and all the other general authorities receive $125,000 each. What??? So much for an unpaid ministry, right?

Never-Mo here: First of all, the endowment ceremony is creepy as hell. Also, a question regarding the wedding ceremony. As a Mormon girl growing up, do you imagine your wedding as a traditional wedding in a church with a beautiful wedding, wedding gown, bridesmaids, groomsmen, vows, reception, etc.? And, if so, how do you reconcile this Mormon ceremony where the word LOVE is not even mentioned? Just curious. PS: Could they make the temple clothing any uglier? How horrible to not get to feel beautiful on your wedding day. I have noticed that Mormon brides do have wedding dresses, probably put on after the cultie wedding ceremony, but also noticed that they have to wear their garments underneath! Ludicrous!!!

I love the temple. I can't wait to go back again and again. Jesus spoke in parables so the unrighteousness would and could not understand. This is a sad example of someone thar received so much and now wants to drag it in the dirt. I don't believe in white privilege but this girl just might Mahe me believer.

Real, actual revelation, from God, not from your own thoughts, will help you understand the temple if you have put aside your favorite sins and are pure, and if you seek knowledge about the ordinances, seek to understand, are patient, and above all, ask persistently in earnest. God knows if you don't care enough to know Him. These temple ordinances are Christ's. Throw them in the trash if you like. Living forever with a perfected soul and endless opportunity is something the world offers no viable path for. This does, and God will help you on it, through Christ's holy house, if you stick with Him. Come back please.

Your video made me sick to my stomach because of your mocking of commitments that others view as absolutely sacred. Believe or don't believe, walk away, that is your choice. Mocking, well that is just bad manners. Your video appeared randomly on my feed. Glad I know how to block it!

So the video staryed with prescription talk . Get healthy. And here os a stigma you ate disloyal . The most important quality in a woman isnt how good she cooks pr hpw good she looks . Its not how big of a testimony she has of Jesus. None of theese qualities do you sny good if she is gone cheating on you . Your whole topic is about breaking your promices . Honestly and loyalty makes a good friend and you have neither
