Then going from Nobody's home and my happy ending to Girlfriend. What caused the change and did you write the song Girlfriend or was it part of a rebrand. Then talking about hellokitty and how her large Asian audience has inspired her music. Ending with what do you want to do next. The theory has been around ever since Girlfriend came out and I have no idea why she had such a change.

I’ve always thought Avril was so naturally beautiful and then even with age, her struggle with Lyme and any work or whatever touch ups she may or may not have had done, she clearly didn’t ruin her face or her over all looks. She has such a distinct look and it’s so different than the look that Hollywood typically goes for these days or tries to change into these days.

With the whole Avril conspiracy, I’ve always looked at it in reverse. I felt like Avril in the early 2000s was putting on a front. Like the whole rocker tomboy persona wasn’t really her.. like she didn’t seem genuine to me. Especially in the interviews she did at the time of her debut. Not that the music wasn’t genuine, just her vibe If that makes sense? or maybe she just decided to rebrand?? That’s not completely out the ordinary lol

I think it bothers her because she really did come so close to death because of her illness and she has talked about it before. Her song Head Above Water is about when she thought she was actually going to die one night because she was so sick and she had her mom by her side that night 😢 She’s literally fought to stay alive and she’s simply herself and just wants to be known as herself and everything she has created and fought hard to stay alive for.
