This is what pisses me off: let’s take the evidence of abuse out of this, cuz, let’s be honest, not all victims have photos, videos, tape recordings, medical records, etc. She LIED about what truth was left. She LIED about never doing drugs since she was 18/19. Not only did she do drugs after that, but did it with her abuser. She lied about NEVER hitting Johnny. Later when she is asked in this interview, she’s like, I only hit Johnny in self defense. Then most importantly, she lied about the 7 million dollars. There’s a lot of disputes of what’s already been donated and who donated it, and what name it was under. But the point is, she said she’s gonna donate the divorce settlement right after the trial, I have 13 months to do so, and didn’t. She destroyed herself.

Well defamation is basically purposely throwing untruthful shit on a person to make them look bad and or ruin their career. So basically in court his lawyers would need to 1) prove that she wrote it, and 2) prove that what was written was untruthful. When it taken to court one of the best routes the lawyers could have (and did) take was to pointedly show the jury that she was a liar. Unfortunately for her, she played right into their hands and continued to lie and lie again until really there was no denying that she was an actual liar. And she actually verbally admitted to writing the OpEd on the stand so. That's a done deal for her.
