I have never used the spin kind but I have used the wedge system and honestly it works to some degree but there's a huge flaw in that system because it has a habit of pulling the tile up and yes there's no lippage but it will pull the lowest tile almost out of the thinset and makes it extremely loose but that is just what I have had happen on multiple jobs but if the two tiles are close to being flat with each other it works great looking forward to using the spin doctor system could you do a video on the clip system ,cause maybe I'm doing something wrong but I'm pretty sure it's just a flaw with that system if your walls have large bows or low spots in them but I watch your videos and sir you are absolutely a professional when it comes to installing tile thank you for your videos and GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY

You are doing it wrong. A system like this should only ever be used for veryyyy minor lip age, Less than a 1/16. If you have a bowed wall you need to build up the mortar in said area until its almost perfect then use a system like this.

still using spin doctors? been using the ramondi wedge clips for many years and no issues at all and being about 8 cents per clip its fairly inexpensive. i do like the idea of not using the pliers but have heard the spin type separates the joints slightly as you spin and was wondering if thats true? I guess if it does you just mallet to tighten joints back up but just wondering if it like happens on every tighten?

It is true that they separate the tiles as you tighten. I used them yesterday for 12x24 tub surround and noticed that immediately.
