One Summer's Day from the soundtrack to the Studio Ghibli film Spirited Away by Joe Hisahishi, played by the WDR Funkhausorchester under the baton of Christopher Dragon. Recorded live on 18.04.2024 in the Kölner Philharmonie as part of the youth concert "Anime but different: Symphonic Dreams". At this concert, the WDR Funkhausorchester and WDR Rundfunkchor performed great anime soundtracks and, like the audience, some of the musicians wore costumes of popular anime characters.

The 2nd or 3rd best ghibli song to learn solo for piano... "A Hilly Town" is the best one.

Oh das enttäuscht mich ausnahmwsweise mal ein bisschen. Warum wirkt das so flach? Da passiert doch eigentlich so viel. Ob es am Arrangement liegt? Das berühmte Konzert mit Joe Hisaishi im Budokan ist so atemberaubend und jedes Stück lebt und hier strahlt es nicht. Tut mir leid.
