Younger magicians really have this stage presence that make it seem their tricks are believable. This was excellent. For 3 consecutive years, BGT had shown 3 stellar magicians; Darcy Oake, Jamie Raven, and now Richard Jones. By the way, where's the background song from?

It is also worth remembering that most of England are not entirely convinced that civilization and culture survived in the colonies and extensions after American Revolution. We Americans are prone to all manner of barbaric customs and grammatical abuses. For example, we choose to keep an automobile engine under the hood instead of the bonnet because Americans tend to hoodlumism while the English foster class and civility. There are other differences, most of which the Americans do in the name of local colour.

My guess: he had 4 notebooks. The ones he gave had only tea and Beckham on all the pages. They didn't notice it because they were asked to take a quick peek at a random page. Obviously it's the reason he threw the notebooks away seconds later.

Easy to do the force-pick.(Different names when you scroll down versus when you scroll up where all the names are the same. I.E Beckham and Tea). Then the fold trick which basically means he had prepared the paper with Beckham and folded it out from the paper that he is cutting into (same fold trick as the guy used last year). Then finally you all figured out that he had prepared the box with tea inside before going on stage as he knew that David could only choose tea from the force pick. Easy to do, but hard to perform as well as he did live / up close.

+Bendz0 Different names when you scroll down versus when you scroll up (c) But how is it possible? We can see there are no names on the other side on 2:19 very clearly. Not so obvious with drinks, but still we can see 2:34-2:35 that backpages are totally white.

+Inga Kit That's easy, you just cut every second page a little bit shorter than the others. Which you can actually see (just barely) at 2:17 - 2:25 . Then your thumb will only hit the longer pages as you scroll, allowing you to make all the shorter pages disappear from view. Whereas when you carefully lift up the pages from the other direction (note how carefully he informs them how to hold the deck, and how to lift "up" with their thumb) then you will only see the shorter pages as you will naturally lift up the longer ones. Basically the longer pages all have different names on them. While the shorter pages all have the same name on them (Beckham and Tea) Thus he knows what they will "choose" and can prepare everything else accordingly.

arianzo There are many ways to make static electricity with gadgets. On David I can tell you that it's coming from his Watch, which you an tell is not a normal watch. There's many ways he could have done it though.

The trick is in the notebooks. Every second page is microshaved, so when you flip through the them while holding your thumb at the bottom, as he did in his demonstration, you see the longer pages, and each has something different written on them. When you open them while holding your thumb from the top, as he instructed Amanda and David to do, each microshave page has David Beckham or Tea. Of course he had them toss the notebooks immediately afterwards. The rest is easy, he had palmed a cutout of Beckham, and he had a heated can of tea.

Come on people you should pass this video around to your friends Cause if this isn't real life magic not just tricks but MAGIC than I really don't know what magic is This guy is the definition of magic and not just a definition a word but a definition that you can WATCH & How often do you come across a definition of a word that you can WATCH before your very eyes? Never At first I wanted Beau to win cause I thought she had a really good like WOW voice & then I went to check to see if she won & when I found out that she not only was in the top 3 she came in 5th so I the video went on and eventually announced Richard Jones as the winner of 2016 and I'm always curious to see why the winner won so I searched his name up with the first audition & this video came up and now every is clear This guy is WAAAAAY beyond the words of WOW Like he's way more magical to watch than going to the Disney Parks He actually makes you really believe in magic that much that you could almost creat a religion about magic

This audition was cool and I don't care about the copying part, as long as people don't know the trick, and it's entertaining to watch, you could consider it a talent. What he did in the final, was just sleight of hand. With some training, really most us would be able to do that. I couldn't believe he won.

Nice performance. One small point. At 5:09, Richard Jones says that David's touch filled him with all David's kinetic energy. This is not possible since David wasn't moving (Kinetic Energy is the energy of motion). If David had punched him, then such a statement would be correct. The energy transfer that took place was potential energy (electrical potential to be precise) and the energy transfer was from Richard to David; not the other way.
