Though Kevin (James McAvoy) has evidenced 23 personalities to his trusted psychiatrist, Dr. Fletcher (Betty Buckley), there remains one still submerged who is set to materialize and dominate all of the others. Well, she is kinda one of the weakest for being a lady (comparing her strength with Dennis, The Beast or even Barry) but who knows if Marsha knew that.

Because she’s a woman, and very gentle and polite, so the girl probably thought she was vulnerable. Forgetting that Patricia yes, is an old woman, but is also one of the strongest personalities (next to Dennis and the Beast), and the small side note: she’s in a very strong mans body.

Being in a society with varying people who have a wide range of life experiences that are different causes each of us to have actions and reactions that might not be equivalent to one another. That's why I can't say I would have done the same. I don't even know what I might have done. I would hope for fight and that I'd succeed. But it's hard to know for sure.

I haven’t seen this movie I’m just watching clips online- but I feel like they should’ve waited for the most vulnerable personality which definitely was not Patricia. She had strength with her presence. She was intelligent and knew random yet interesting facts even though she has never really seen the real world. I feel like the nine year old character was extremely vulnerable because when you’re nine- you don’t know. You’re clueless and you aren’t properly built to have average human strength. However, you could never really tell which of his personalities you were going to get and I guess the girls couldn’t wait for a new, vile personality to come along.

Casey was still under the illusion that escape was futile because of her past experiences with her uncle, as we see her telling Marzia not to try anything and also refusing to fight when Claire suggested jumping Dennis. Even Claire, the brave and positive one, gave up on trying to escape after being locked in the closet until she saw the old woman getting snatched by Dennis, so the whole situation was just extremely demoralizing to begin with. Casey just managed to snap out of it right when she needed to, and unfortunately for Claire, she snapped out of it too late. If she and Marzia just had a little more time, they could have escaped their locked rooms, gotten Casey, and left while Dennis was out. Another point of the movie: Never give up.

I mean dang. If you're gonna do it, then do it right. Lol that didn't even slow him down. If you're not willing to hurt or kill somebody who wouldn't hesitate to kill you, you're not that willing to escape. All this did was make Patricia mad.
