The Dallas Stars beat the Florida Panthers 6-1, and things get heated as six different fights break out for a combined 138 penalty minutes.

Hear hear. Pay off the players who have brain damage and make goddamn sure that players coming into the game know the risk of concussion from playing like men, then let them play.
@alecohlie586 жыл бұрын
John Doe all the players know the risk of the game and every year they ask players if they want fighting this year 99.5% of the players want fighting to stay in the game. They know what they get themselves into and they know the importance of fighting in the game.

5FORFIGHTING I wouldn't say it's fighting that causes brain damage in hockey.
@alecohlie586 жыл бұрын
Alexander Machtakov nor do I clean hits to the chest and flying elbows and the hits from behind cause more concussions than anything in the game. But for the people who wanna talk about brain damage and CTE they act like players are currently oblivious to it and assume fighting is the main cause of it.

I think my Cats lost any hope of a WC spot and all their self esteem. I just appreciate win or not them sticking up for each other but I was just like nooooo every single time they were dropping the glove like Mackenzie has no business dropping em but respect. Dallas is tough and that got ugly fast. I mean Satari made some saves but it was a wildfire I didn't care about the score, I think Yandle is the only one who really flaked out and for having 650+ games under his belt he needs to know how to at least defend himself. He embarrassed everyone on the team
@ToKeepMeFromSinking6 жыл бұрын
I'm a Stars fan, but respect, Timothy. I've had a bit of a hate on for the Panthers ever since Kulikov took out Seguin's knee a few years back. However, as a fan of a non traditional market team, I have respect for the fans of teams in a similar situation. You guys catch a lot of flack for the lack of attendance, but I respect the hell out of the ones that show up and love/support their team. Best of luck dude!
@timr51856 жыл бұрын
Tony Sly absolutely geez we let go of so many great players go but hey I appreciate everyone doing thier share. There are a lot of teams that will let a lot go and that game was a war! From the get go it was out of control but besides Yandle, our young guys manned up. Was a tough loss but shows backbone within the team. Unfortunately people down here don't appreciate the game but we don't have a bad team. Most jump to conclusions but we've made bad trades and now the goalie situation is awful although Satari made good saves it just got out of control in general. Was a true hockey game though but some bad calls against the cats( unclipped jersey on Dallas no call in the Haley fight then a misconduct!? Twice! But either way Dallas would of won they are tough and it started with us thinking Rousell hurt Reimer.....

Tony Sly what do you mean the east could use some good teams? The east is so competitive right now
@ToKeepMeFromSinking6 жыл бұрын
The east have some real good teams, and a lot of garbage teams. The West is a lot stronger which results in teams with better records in the West missing out on the playoffs while teams in the east get in ahead of them. Ottawa, Montreal, Buffalo, Detroit are all trash, than you have some younger teams with potential/mediocre teams like new Jersey, Columbus, philly, both NY teams but none are real contenders. You're left with what? Toronto, Pittsburgh, Boston and Washington?
