theyve played the avs so much its hard to create any new hate especially since no one on either team is gonna do too much silliness. roy was easy to get mad at but dallas having the better tender most of the times these two teams play it always turns out be just between our consistently good tending and the shakey history of avs tending since roy. i do think its cute theres so many former players on either team which is another element that mutes the hate cause i like nichu,kivi and cogs. i ultimately agreed with them moving on even and am super glad nichu got unclogged. i just hope he continues to fail while still competing for the conference XD

Georgiev and Ottinger both played their best game of the series. The defenses let a lot through in the firat period and half. Glad the Stars held on.

I hate how the players sometimes block out the ads. Thankfully the ads are able to obscure the puck, but it pains me that if you really concentrate you can still roughly piece together some of what's going on in the game.

I was at the game last night. Weird feeling in the arena after the second Dallas goal. Usually feels like the top is about to blow off with anticipation knowing we’ll come back but for some reason just felt like a slow march of death the rest of the game. Dallas played great structured defense. They blocked everything!

Nah. Avs basically dominated the game in hits, zone time, shots on goal, and face-off wins. Just got beat defensively by a better defensive team and a good goalie.

It was a closer game than the score would suggest, but Otter played a hell of a game and Stars D locked down the 3rd period. I still think this goes to 7. Avs have an absolutely lethal offense, but if Dallas plays like this I think they'll take it.

The East Coast and Canadian media barely know the Stars exist. For example, anytime they mention Oettinger they bring up the Game 7 against Calgary two seasons ago. That's basically all they know about him or the team, lol. They hardly cover the Stars at all, until Playoffs, and they certainly never watch the games unless they're assigned to them.

Колорадо играет в ураганном темпе практически без игры в средней зоне, максимально быстро переводя игру к чужим воротам. Если игра пойдет и реализация моментов хорошая, то Колорадо накидают полную авоську шайб любому. Если обороняющаяся команда выдержит бешеный натиск и воротчик потащит (как Этинджер в этой игре), то у неё будут появляться шансы у ворот "эвеланш", так как играть в такой темповой и атакующий хоккей значит оставлять пробелы в своих оборонительных порядках, и мы видели, что периодически нападающие Далласа убегали в контратаки. Ну а мастерство игроков "старз" позволяет надеяться на реализацию появляющихся моментов, что и произошло в этой игре. Поэтому в этой серии и будут такие качели, то туда, то сюда. Но думаю, что в длительной 6-7 матчевой серии глубина состава Далласа даст ему преимущество, все-таки первое суперзвездное звено Колорадо не сможет вытащить на своих плечах всю серию.

I am an avalanche fan since the sakic days and last night was the most out of sync hockey I've ever seen colarado play. It seemed we were asleep there and not hungry for the win. Since I'm a little biased I'll blame it on the (it's just one of those games) but I guarantee the next game we will come out like a bunch of goons ready to rock n roll and take game 4............

Эта игра до боли напоминает игру Рейнджерс с Каролиной, одни долбятся в стену, другие терпят и решают игру в своих моментах. Иногда кажется что некоторые команды играют на статистику бросков, с ужасно низким кпд. Хоккей Колорадо пока что кровь из глаз, смогут разобраться с собой заберут серию. Даллас кубок не возьмет, любая команда востока ушатает его.

Looked like MacKinnon was trying to force himself on the board as there's about 5 shots he takes at distance on a crap angle with no screen in front giving ott the easiest saves to get in rhythm, not to mention mack wasn't thinking at all to play defense like AVS are a joke this season. It's like they're not even trying as they seem not to care.

You just touched on the reason why I can never be a MacKinnon fan. The best superstars in history make all the players around them better. MacKinnon always thinks of himself first, not his teammates. For that reason, the enormous wealth of talent he possesses will never be what it could have been if he were a team player, playing a team sport.

By all rights this series should be 3-0. The Stars are simply too hard to play against. Most teams can only make it 30 minutes and they are toast. They huff and they puff and they play so dang hard and then they simply run out of gas. Give credit to the Avalanche, they lasted 40 minutes tonight. But they should have done it reverse: take the 1st period off and fly for the final 40. 🤷

Avs lasted a full 60. They weren't dragging or huffing and puffing. Just incredibly frustrated. Avs dominated almost the entire game. More scoring chances, more offensive zone time, more shots on goal, more hits. Just got beat by a good goalie and an incredibly boring style of hockey.

@@soulknife20sounds like you watched an over paid panel of whos after the game. “Boring” it’s called locking it down and Stars got it right tonight finally after two games of almost blowing it trying to do exactly what they did, and actually hitting the open net.

@@soulknife20 so a good team kept all your danger safely out of reach while you had the majority of the puck possession. the way you try to frame it sounds apologetic like oh well rock beats scissors, what it actually was that dallas focused on the stats that mattered and let you puff up useless ones. got timely strikes when needed and even timelier saves. both teams are capable of this if they use their legs and sticks which dallas simply did better tonight.
