I have suppressed a lot of weeds using heavy cardboard with tree branches to hold it down. It will take awhile but back in your woods, it would probably be a very good way to kill some nasty vines. Good job with the mulch!!

Looks awesome! Instead of the work of a shovel, I use the big Menards or Home Depot buckets! I just use my gloved hands like a rake and fill the bucket on its side. I can do 2 yards in an hour! Plus the buckets hold more than a shovel.

Wow that was a lot of hard work in the heat, and so worth it! It looks so much better to have mulch at the edge of the lawn instead of weeds. And Nate is my hero. Thanks for the garden updates Jes!

Hi Jes, wow, you and Nate got alot accomplished looks soooo sooooo nice. I love it when I can get mulch like that for my back gardens. Haven't had it for a very long time. But we do mulch up our tree debris when one falls or we cut up the trunk of the pine trees make great mulch 😊 Max has gotten really big probably won't get much bigger? He's so cute 😍. Enjoyed your music 🎶 and singing. Thanks for taking us along always enjoy hanging out with you. God's blessings, sweet friend ❤😊 have a blessed day 😊

I know how you feel having another section cleaned up and covered with chips...been through that a few years ago, and it feels so gratifying, especially since the chips they are free, and you know things will be easier now with keeping the weeds down. It's a lot of hard work, but when it's done, it's all worth the effort. Now on to more fun selection the plants to fill those areas! Have fun!
