Fitting Land Rover alpine roof windows to a Mercedes Sprinter van takes a lot of work, but it's worth it for that '60's bus vibe, interior light and custom look. This is going to be a sweet camper conversion. To help with my workshop fund check out my website - www.georgekarellas.com
Thank you!

Just realised the welds are shite because of the stop animation. That's some dedication. that's letting the welds on your own van be shite just so us at home can watch that small cut scene. If that doesn't earn a like and subscribe I don't know what will.

If can-do-attitude had a face it would be the spitting image of George! :D Eventually this is going to be one sweet flat on wheels. And once you're done with the rust and whatnot you're free as a bird. Restoring something to near original is a maze of constraints. Starting with a big empty box (now with windows) that only needs to fit the constraints of "What does George like? What does George need? and, What can George afford to like and need?" is probably going to feel like (mostly) unburdened creative freedom.

EPIC.. Grinder debris/dust is THE one thing I wish I had prep’d against whilst working on my daughters TD4. It’s a mess and I will struggle to get it clean after all the work is complete… Mentioned this before ‘themz’ alpine windows are now dancing around in my head.. but first basic repairs to the roof are a ‘must do’ and also the lower panel as that have been ‘beaten’ by ‘white van man’ in a previous existence. Why is it everytime I watch a SOUP video I want to go and cut shi7 up and weld? Most inspirational video channel on ‘The Tubes’.. CHEERS George..

That model of sprinter was better than the newer ones. Less techy stuff to go wrong enginewise. They rust nearly as bad as transits. I wonder how much light those windows will let in.... good work as usual George.

Been dying to ask about the Sprinter during the whole ranger rover and Mercedes W123 series, great stuff! if you haven't done the other side by the time this video posts pick up a Werner ladder stabilizer, gutter repair companies use them, its tough enough to work off a ladder it might as well be as stable as it can be Also a fold out canopy tent would help you beat the weather gods Keep up the great work! Thank you for sharing! Cheers from the US, east coast
