Respectfully Disagree. If I owned the business, I would sell the data to Kevin with certain compliance stipulations and respecting privacy. He was not of the right temperament to work with her, he would have suffocated her because he knows too much.

If you're doing a cheapo wedding because you're young and strapped for cash I get it. If you are a person of even modest means and you use this product, tf is wrong with you? What woman is going to agree to their wedding happening this way? And why would you spend money on a service instead of just having someone that cant make it appear on a tablet via zoom and assign groomsmen to carry them around on a rotating basis. Like "Alright Tony, it's 5:30, you have to carry Brian for the next hour."

Maybe they can pitch this as an add-on to in person weddings but the guests couldn’t make it. For example, destinations weddings, weddings with many guests who lives overseas and cannot afford to travel; guests who have health conditions who can’t make it to the wedding. This can be set up easily and live stream the wedding so you can invite more people to enjoy.

I don't get what they even offer. Zoom call? Can't you do that yourself? Sure, trying to coach your elderly relatives through joining a zoom call can be a nightmare, but 1500 to make it easier for people to join a zoom call and to put together a slideshow of the couple? Not worth, in my opinion. You can get a wedding dress and a photographer and a ordained minister for that. Then all you need is the fancy air bnb with the scenic views. I'm out.

I think she should have settled at fifteen percent with Kevin because he would have propelled her company to the moon with his synergy in marriage industry . sometimes it's not really about the percentage but what value the shark would add to the business. It was impressive how she withstood all the tough questions from the shark trying to sell this business post pandemic but I think ten percent is nothing compared to what Kevin would add to her business. I think it's a mistake on the entrepreneurs part. But oh well I'm some nobody

Her valuation was 4 million, got a deal on 2 million (that deal was never closed by the way), and now 3 years after she launched, her business is only worth around 0.6 million. I don't think it's going really well for her.

True, but this generation of women are just obsessed of pointing out that they are women. She has to mention 'girl power' then she makes a comment about they weren't expecting her to be a software engineer because she's a women, but its ok to make a comment about how the wedding industry is dominated by women expect from Kevin, and of course has to make a point that Robert is our 'first male' partner. Not necessarily, zoom or Google meet weddings would require someone to switch and manage it while this tends to have a crew off site that can run it without stress or pressure on bride or groom's family. Think of it as a director for a show but the show is a wedding.

I was immediately turned off by the pitch, because it's one of those "how you think things should be" (people attending weddings in person), however considering this is a brand new sector, she did a great job answering the questions. I think this will be a growing trend and kudos to her!

I see it working in way that sometimes friends are not able to travel from state to state or to other countries but they would still like to be there part of it, and she could possible expand it to birth day parties, graduations, a so on. Stream it just any other special event. I probably would not use it but there tons of people out there that would, am pretty sure.

This company could very well expand way beyond just weddings. Given the technical logistics involved, not a whole lot of companies can scale, big and small, to accommodate everyone's event needs. Once they've nailed down all the challenges involved, these Zoom celebration meetings could play a major role at any conventional wedding. A widescreen could be set up so that people unable to attend the ceremony and or reception, could interact with family and friends.

I met a guy who made a system for a small company in Cancun. During Covid pandemic they had like 500 viewers per wedding and sometimes went on live twice a day. Now they do it once a month and had like 50 persons. Maybe not the bussines of the century but i think it works

This is such a revolting idea...a zoom wedding. More zoom after the pandemic... and more screen time for everyone, as if people are not stuck to their phones enough 💀 I can see that it is valuable to include the people who cannot attend because they are old or ill, but making the ENTIRE wedding virtual and toasting to a camera while having no one around (or so few people around)... this is some Black Mirror material.

I initially thought who would want to go to a zoom weeding. But it makes a lot of sense for people planning on just doing a courthouse weeding, and there are many people that get married, there is most certainly a niche for this.

The business model is not good at all but one thing I'd be interested in the business that is it'd be collected all users data which is very important. As a tech guy Robert did notice about this and he invested in the business from tech company perspective though he is interested only 10percent equity. Good deal
