100% could tell he knew the game well. A true fan, I'm a spurs fan myself and admittedly I've said some silly things over the past few weeks about ange out of frustration but we've got to stick by him

Long term would be trophies. Short term would be establishing top 4 for several seasons to build up to challenge for titles providing the funding is given to Ange.

Spurs have had the 6th, recently the odd 5th, highest revenue in the league, miles behind some of the richer clubs & haven't won the league for over 60 years, yet some of our deluded fanbase think we should be winning, or at least getting close to winning, the league. We have been a cup team if you look at our history, and in the last 20 odd years have made quite a few semi finals & finals, the only difference is in the last 15 years the team has lost them all rather than winning the odd one.

I think it largely depends on wh oyou ask as evreyone it seems has their own opinion. My hope for Ange was simply try to undo th edamage Conte and Mourinho have done get us back into top 6 and get us back in Europe as I felt even with this dodgy squad we were good enough to achieve that. Granted that doesn't win trophies but I don' t think we're in a position to win trophies right now and that's not Ange's fault he's having to deal wit hleft ovres from previous regimes atm rather than getting to use his own players like h edid at Celtic. I had my doubts a tfirs tbu tperhaps having a nobody manage our club is what we need right now as I don' thtink hiring established managers has worked and we hav edefinitel yplayed better this year than we have in the last 3.
