I think some of my favourite parts of SxF is that A: Damian actually has a lot of depth character wise to him and B: Ewen and Emile are just genuinely good friends to Damian.

As a manga reader, this is where i fell in love with Damian. Many forget, he is just a 6 year old who wants love and recognition like every other kid. His character development is one of the best in this series.

This whole episode was hilarious but when that big kid with the deep voice said "DADDY", I lost it. lol Also i loved all the cool liittle shoutouts they did throught out the episode, like Rocky, Street Fighter & DBZ.

Ended in failure, but spectacular animation🤣the deep as hell voice on bazooka bill was the best idea ever.

It was a tribute to a lot of stuff. This episode has so many references. It referenced Rocky, Mission Impossible, Dragon Ball Z, and every sports anime trope lol

I love how much they add to the anime like the whole training session with Yor and the training of Damian and the special moves wasn't in the manga.

This was a tribute episode to OG's : Naruto , HxH and Dragon Ball. Love it!

Anya's moves failed simply because she trained for just a few days. You can't expect to gym and body build for a week and expect to have a Stallone bod. If Anya actually stuck with the training for years every single day, the results should actually be phenomenal. Yor had YEARS of training which also probably include fighting with her life on the line during assassinations, which breaks your body's limits and is probably the reason for her superhuman physique. If you can recall in Episode 2, Yor simply walked in through the front door of her assassination target and killed everybody inside including many bodyguards. This shows that she is so overpoweringly skilled and strong that stealth is even optional in her assassinations when she can simply kill everyone present.

That episode caught me so off guard. It started out really slow so I was worried that it was going to be boring but that last half had me rolling. Especially when Bill spoke for the first time I nearly died due to lack of oxygen from laughing so hard. Also there were a ton of references to other anime like DBZ, Naruto and HxH that made me smile. Great episode 10/10

The best part of this series is the stuff at school with the kids. It's so realistic. Crazy rumors that turn out to be compete nonsense. One kid being bigger than all the others (that was me all through elementary school). All the worries and stresses that seem insignificant to adults. All the imagination and fantasy play related to media they've watched.

this cartoonist(mangaka), Mr.Tatsuya Endo says he respects Mr. Togashi (mangaka of hunter×hunter) in the interview of the official S×F fan book so it could be expected this episode is homage(reference) of the hunter×hunter dodgeball episode. maybe Bill is imaged from Razor. Catching ball by one hand is completely same as him. S×F is often drawn many homage from other mangas. As a side note, Yor & Anya's training and Damian, Emile & Ewen' training scenes (including DB homage) and Emile &Ewen's small play scene (including Slam Dunk homage) are all anime original.

I think if Lord was the one who taught Anya for the dodgeball event she would have done better with tactics and not tripping but her firepower wouldn't be the same when Yor taught Anya~

Well Anya is a lab experiment so we could assume she's not the only one with powers. I'm not sure about Yor but Bazooka Bill and even his father looks like enhanced humans.

I feel so bad for onion not being able to win. I feel like if she was able to follow through with the throat because she let go a little too late of the ball so it hit the floor. I feel like if she let go with the ball at the right time maybe it could’ve hit him, but again she’s not a grown-up assassin like Yor so I don’t think she wouldn’t have been able to throw it very hard anyways he probably would’ve been able to catch it. Poor Anya.
