Indeed! Humility goes a long way. Only thing worse than a bad loser is a bad winner. Farag oozes humility and respects all his opponents. To many more years of squash by this man!

@@dontwatchdotorg Roger Federer used to break his racket as a junior in Basel . They told him, one more racket and you don't need to come back. He heard them, and became who he is now. Asal needs someone to tell him to grow a pair, and soon.

Asal is 19. Let's wait for his brain to catch up with his body. I think he did pretty well in this tournament and played some patient accurate squash, such as against Coll.

When Farag first popped up to the squash world, I was not his fan, but Elshorbagy's instead. The more I watch Farag playing the more I love him. He plays the game so gracefully, just beautiful. Besides the game, he has a great sportmanship, respect everyone from players to fan. Thank you Farag... I am now your fan. And BTW, thank you very much for beating that clown badly...

Farag played a good pace without the haste ! Asal in his head had already won the tournament. He's young and exhuberant, got amazing squash skills - they got him to the semi final to be fair.

However talented Asal is, all his antics just makes everyone root against him. I have no idea why someone around him hasn't said "tone it down, otherwise everyone will hate you". Don't give me the "he's young" argument, he's an adult and should have a bit of awareness that he's quickly becoming a bit of a joke

What was wrong with Asal's behaviour in that match? Or the last few matches for that matter? The last few matches he has been utterly professional and has produced some incredible squash. If people like you are going to 'hate' him for behaving as he has done, then I think the problem clearly lies with you. What precisely were the antics that were bad enough to make you think 'he's quickly becoming a bit of a joke' and that 'everyone will hate him'?

Absolute nightmare of a matchup for Asal. Farag is too relaxed, consistent, and accurate to have any trouble with Asal's aggressive fakes and shots

I don't remember whether he always was but Farag is certainly a class act these days, on court and in interviews like this. The question is whether he can match the very best champions' intensity!

Such a disappointing result... Was expecting fireworks.... Dessouky match was the one too watch.... I'm proud of his mental toughness cause his going to need it against Faraq...Hope it will be a better final and live up to its expectations

One of the commentators said “Asal didn’t turn up today”. He did. Sometimes you have to work and use your brain to win matches. Too many unforced errors and a reluctance too grind out points. It’s not that easy a game. (Squash). No guts no glory. Asal over time will probably learn how to win ugly. Time will tell.

It's a pity that Asal had an injury, I think it would have been a more interesting match otherwise. For all his terrible behaviour, he is a talent and hopefully he is back at full strength soon. Farag is so classy in every way and something Asal should aspire to.

I've always loved villains in sport: Mcenroe, Power, Mike Tyson; the Yankees and Broad Street Bullies (hockey) for you non Canadians...and I want to see Asal at the top so I can root against him. I don't need to see people trying to 'settle him down' and change who he is...we're already conditioned enough by authorities. Let's see a fight on the court!
