Honestly I had Shorbagy winning this championship and with a good margin, the way he played all week was incredible. I'm kinda floored but for some reasons I forgot how good Farag is, his movements are stellar, his accuracy is world class and most importantly his strategy is truly unique in the game.

What a treat to watch these amazing players! Good sportsmanship on court and world class squash, what a pleasure!!

Farag took speed and fitness to a whole new level in this match. He retrieved shots that I did not think were retrievable point after point and this after a 5 game marathon against Momen. The Beast threw everything but the kitchen sink at him and the ball just kept coming back. I've been watching squash since the 80's and the only other guys I've seen who could move like that were Jansher and Ramy. Congratulations Ali on both your title and your daughter.

PSA should put up the complete match , the fitness levels of these 2 are just phenomenal , especially Farag who played another epic SF vs Momen, WOW !! only drawback, is the poor coverage and editing, like WTF seriously this is the WC !!

Well done .Tonight we saw a tough but fair battle. When we don't really mind who wins as long there was mutual respect and the squash was amazing. These two players represent the epitome of competative squash. Played with a balance between winning at all costs and the cost of winning without regard of the cost. (Asal take note)

Could not have happened to a more deserving player and human and a true professional athlete. The Shorbagy of the first two games was not the same man in the last two games... not sure what happened other than maybe Farag wore him down. Marvelous and exciting final!!!

The day this was made I started playing squash and beat everyone in my family and most of my friends and believe it or not my coach 😃😃

Just realise that the shock in game 2 is not poor editing but very deliberate....and fair enough... all these guys have to make a living and enticing freeloaders like me to pony up for the full story seems to me a legitimate ploy....which I would go with when I get rich.

When its a final and you would be happy with either player winning... ending on a stroke though, that just always sucks.

Only one match to cover - you would think they'd have had time to fit in the key moments!!! Rushed through this match as if it was round 1. I guess it's more important to hear Farag trotting out the well worn cliches in the last minute of the video. Bad.

As much as I like Farag I feel really bad for Mo, after meeting him and going to the same uni as him and working with the same squash coaches I really hoped that he would have several world championships, He's been world number one for a long time and yet only won the champs once. Shame

Man i saw a short talking about this and clicked on the first result. Why not just call it wall ball like everyone else does😂 wtf is squash???

Elshorbagy looking tired and not as sharp as the previous matches. Great quality squash though, and excellent sportsmanship. Still not a fan of Farag's high-quality-but-boring squash, but well-deserved win so congrats.

Can we be even higher in awe at Farags game? He just beat shorbagy who’s been playing at peak but did it in a comfortable manner. His highly efficient game with smooth movements avoids injuries and he probably reads shorbagy s strokes the best on tour too.
