SR20 valve cover dress up

I didn't want to paint my SR20 valve cover in some fruity colour, so raw aluminium was the order of the day. Paint stripping is always a dirty job, but I thing the result is pretty bad ass in the end. Well worth it.

I think it looks good. A light polish would probably do wonders! Keep up the great content 👍🏻

Thanks heaps mate. I didn't want to polish or sand the cover really but had to to clean up some gouges. I tried to polish the letters but they didn't turn out quite how I wanted. I may give the whole cover a polish to see how it comes up :)

It looks good....but I must ask what is the name of the stuff you use to get off the paint?

Hey mate, it's heavy duty paint stripper. You can get it at any local automotive store or hardware store even. Nasty stuff though, so be careful when handling it.

@@okiefecooke5533 Harder if it's NA. Extractors and a full 2.5 inch exhaust would be a decent start. Maybe coil on plug set up on your spark plugs. Cams and an ecu retune also would be good if you spend a bit more. Best is convert to turbo for more bang for your buck.
